We stopped off for smoothies and then the books before going to the doctor's office. I hesitated to go in now. I hadn't thought about the awful smell until we grew nearer. Emily parked and grabbed her bag. When she noticed I hadn't made any move to follow her she paused.

"Are you not coming in?" She asked.

"I-" I paused and erased my answer before trying again. "The doctors office thing kind of freaks me out. I get really dizzy and nauseous. I don't think I can."

Emily nodded as she read. I felt like she deserved an explanation. She was being so nice to me and I couldn't even accompany her to the doctor properly.

"That's ok. It will be a quick trip any way. I'll be right back." She said. She handed me the car keys and then her cell phone. "Just in case you need these. There are games on the phone if you want to play."

I nodded my thanks and she smiled before getting out of the car. She disappeared into the office and I focused on the phone. I wasn't much for snooping so I focused on the folder labeled games. There were several to choose from. I picked the one with the fruit emblem.

I was on what felt like my billionth round of fruit matching in no time. I had discovered several little secrets about the game. My favorite was when I matched five peaches the fruit would give off an explosion that cleared the whole screen and gave me new fruit. I had managed to get four out of five peaches together. I only needed one more. The phone buzzed to life in my hand making me jump. The screen switched over to a black screen with just a name on it and two dots. "Aaron." The name on the top said. Bellow it showed a red dot and a green dot. I didn't know which to push and I was worried about my game. It was timed after all and I didn't know how long it would continue to buzz. I waited. It finally disappeared and I was able to return to the game.

Before I could even try to get the last peach into position it buzzed to life again. Again, the phone said "Aaron" across the top. I had already made a mental note to tell Emily when she got back. Two mental notes now. It was obviously important or he wouldn't have called twice. The phone stopped buzzing and I looked closely at my fruit. I only needed to move a cherry and a strawberry... The phone buzzed and lit up again. This time it beeped a few times as well. The name on the top was the same again, Aaron. I watched the phone buzz. I was starting to feel bad. It's not as if I could answer it. His name disappeared.

This time the phone lit up and buzzed immediately after. A new name. Silas. The buzzing stopped after a few minutes and I was able to return to the game. I did it. The peach landed on top of the other peaches. I tapped to make them explode just as the screen lit up with another call. The sudden switch in screens didn't halt my finger. Instead of pressing down on the fruit I accidentally pressed down on the green dot. The screen switched over. The name at the top, Silas, was accompanied by a clock now that was counting off seconds. I panicked and tapped on the red button. The phone buzzed immediately after I hung up. Because I had panicked and tapped several times I accidentally pressed the red button hanging up again before I could even read the name. The phone buzzed again. I watched it. A ribbon appeared across the middle.

"Answer the damn phone Emily!" The message read.

"Answer now." Another appeared.

"Emily!" A third appeared as the phone rang. They were clearly worried. I had to do something. I clicked on one of the messages.

"Emily is-" I paused in my text. I wasn't sure what to say. "-in the restroom. I will have her call asap." I sent the text.

"Rylan?" The reply was instant. "Where are you?"
