Constance's POV *

I walked out and looked to my left , the hallway was empty. I heard Alan close the door and it echoed . I turned right and took a step , only to be stopped at the sight in front of me. Alan stepped closer towards me . He knew what was about to happen.

Cole , Caiden , Clyde , Michael , Peter , Justin , Jay , Edith , Lilith , and Levi all stood side by side , blocking the empty hallway .

They all looked furious.

If looks could kill , I'd be an atom.

I'm in deep shit , I thought to myself .

Silence.

Deadly silence.

Until , Cole spoke .

" Get the fuck away from her ." He growled , his fists forming by his side .

Alan made no movement to leave my side .

Cole started walking up to us and got in Alan's face but , I stepped in front of Alan .

Cole looked down at me , anger and disbelief filling his eyes .

" Get out of my way Constance." He said , trying to sound calm .

" No." I said simply .

Cole placed his hands on my waist and tried to move me aside , but I pushed him back .

" Caiden get Constance ." Cole said , shifting his eyes on Alan .

I shot Caiden a look and he stayed where he was . I knew Caiden was mad at me but he always listens to me .

" Constance I swear to god if you don't move." Cole said lowly.

" What are you gonna do ?" I took a step forward.

Cole's eyes snapped down at mine .

" Hm ? Tell me . What are you gonna do ?" I asked . I wasn't in the mood . I was angry with Asher .

" Constance." Cole said softly . I knew he was losing his patience.

Suddenly, footsteps were heard from behind us .

Cole looked behind me and Alan and his face harden.

It was Asher . I knew it was him .

I looked over my shoulder, and sure enough , it was Asher .

Alone .

I immediately started walking towards him . Alan called after me and tried to grab my sleeve but I yanked it away from him. I heard so many voices call my name .

" Woah , what's wrong with you ?" Asher asked as I neared him. I didn't answer him.

Instead , I threw my hand back and slapped him across his face .

His face whipped to the side as I heard gasps come from behind us.

My breathing became heavier as I clenched my fists .
