(DANTE'S POV)

Since my father ordered his men to find Ria, I haven't heard a thing.

It's been three days.

And it hurts deeply knowing Ria is still with these monsters.

Who knows what the hell they've been doing to her?

I walked out of my office and went to the kitchen to get some water.

I have to find her soon.

I have to bring her home even if it's going to be the last thing I do.

I sighed before starting to make my way up the stairs. I needed to shower and head back to my parent's home.

Who knows? Maybe my father got something and he isn't telling me.

I was ready to hold on to anything.

Anything at all that will keep some hope in me.

God knows I can't lose hope.

Not when I know Ria is out there going through a lot.

I heard a sound and I turned abruptly, disconnecting myself from my thoughts.

I wasn't expecting anyone.

And besides it's still very early, still a little bit dark out there.

I tiptoed back to the kitchen and grabbed a knife.

I'm not alone.

I heard the faint sounds of footsteps and turned around.

But I saw nothing.

I walked quietly to the switch and turned on the lights.

There was no one in the living room. It was exactly the way I left it.

Maybe the stress is getting to me and I'm just being paranoid.

I sighed before walking back to the kitchen. I dropped the knife on the counter and went to the stairs.

Or maybe I shouldn't have dropped the knife.

Because something or someone grabbed my ankle and I lost my balance, my back landing painfully on the floor.

I winced in pain, trying to get back up.

A fist landed on my face and I groaned in pain.

I was right. I wasn't alone.

Someone had broke into my house.

He was so fast, sending his fist to my face, my stomach. I couldn't even make out his face.

I was still holding my stomach in pain when I saw a gun pointed at me.

I looked up and saw the perpetrator right before my eyes. He was huge and his eyes were cold befitting for the murderer I knew he was.

I promised to bring Ria back home.

I can't die now.

I have to do something.

"Who the hell are you?" I groaned.

He laughed, bending down to level his eyes with mine.

"You and your girl are very fond of asking questions."

Something went off in my head and I felt anger rush through my veins.

Son of a bitch.

"Where is she? Where the hell is she?" I shouted.
