I left home earlier than usual this morning. I was hoping I could get to the classroom before a lot of the other students so I'd have time to check on Midoriya.

Approaching the school, my heart froze at the sight of reporters surrounding the front gate. I took a deep breath, bracing myself.

With my eyes firmly to the ground, I hoped that I would be able to slip passed unnoticed. That wasn't the case, unfortunately, and I was soon bombarded with microphones and cameras.

A hand gripped my shoulder, spun me around, shoving a mic into my face. "Hey kid! What can you tell us about All Might as a teacher?!"

My mind blanked and I froze.

Suddenly, someone grabbed my hand. I looked up to see the guy from lunch. "Get lost," he grumbled before pulling me along.

He managed to get us through the crowd and into the gates.

"Uhm thank you... I um.. I don't do well with people," I stuttered.

He shrugged, "Its fine. I suppose now is a good as time as any to introduce myself. My name is Hitoshi Shinso."

I smiled softly and replied, "I'm [Y/n] [L/n]...."

He suddenly dropped my hand. "Well, we should probably get to class."

I nodded and followed him. Once we entered the school, he turned down a different hallway.

"See you at lunch," he drawled.

With a quick bye, I ran off to class.

I sat up when Mr. Aizawa entered the room. His tired eyes scanned the room.

"Good work with yesterday's battle training," he started, "I've looked over your grades and evaluations."

He addressed a few people with critiques before stating we had to elect a class president.

Immediately, everyone began talking over each other about how they should get picked. Iida hushed everyone with a quick speech about the importance of the job and it was decided that we would hold an election.

I ended up voting for Kirishima because he seemed really excited about the job. The winners were Midoriya as president with Yaoyorozu as vice president.

At lunch, I sat at my chosen table and was soon joined by Shinso. I gave him a shy smile and looked back to my food.

"So, [L/n]..."

I looked up as he addressed me.

"I suppose we should get to know each other." He tilted his head before adding, "If you want to be friends that is."

I smiled. "I'd love to be your friend."

Shinso hummed lightly before beginning. "Let's start with simple stuff... I'm in the general studies course, I like cats, and my quirk unnerves people."

He tossed me a quick look before nodding, "Your turn."

I smiled, "I'm in the hero course, I also like cats, and my quirk isn't as exciting as it seems."

He nodded slowly. "So, you're in the hero course? Sounds fun."

I stirred my food around for a moment before asking a question. "You were next to me at the practical exam, weren't you?"

Shinso's eyes darted down. "Yeah, didn't make it in though. My quirk isn't suited to fight."

I peeked up at him nervously, "What is your quir-" I was interrupted by an alarm going off.

"LEVEL THREE SECURITY BREACH. PLEASE EVACUATE IN A CALM AND ORGANIZED MANNER," a robotic voice boomed over the siren.

Panicking slightly, I noticed Shinso had a confused look on his face.

Someone yells that a level three means someone has broken into the school. Shinso grabs my hand for the second time today, pulling me into action.

Following our fellow students, we enter a hallway flooded with people. With all the pushing and shoving, I started to get pulled away from Shinso.

The taller boy reached out and moved me so I was in front of him. I began looking for a way out of the crowded hallway.

Getting a glimpse through an empty classroom's window, I quickly pop us in and let out a relived sigh. The tired boy looks around in surprise before letting me go.

At his expression, I explained how I used my quirk to get us in the locked room.

Shinso hummed and looked out the classroom window to the hall. Everyone had stopped rushing and I could see Iida standing above the exit, yelling out directions. Shinso turned to me with an amused look.

"Well," he began, "I think your quirk is as exciting as it sounds."

I blushed lightly and mumbled a quiet thanks. Once the hallway cleared up a little more, I popped us back and our day continued as usual.

My earlier question remained unanswered, forgotten after the panic from the security breach.
