Hours later, a cab dropped me off outside a large camp. I glanced to my phone and found I had no reception but regardless my chest buzzed with excitement as I saw the four pros standing by the front door. I rushed over, grinning.

"Thank y-you so much for offering me an internship! I can't wait to learn whatever I can!" My voice hardly wavered, I was so thrilled for the opportunity.

The blue one, Pixie Bob, stepped up. With a loud squeal, she swept me into her arms. "Ah! You're so adorable! We loved your performance so much! You are gonna make an amazing pro someday if you keep it up!"

I blushed at the praise, looking over to the other three. They quickly introduced themselves as Mandalay, Ragdoll, and Tiger respectively. Pixie Bob released me as they led me inside.

"We've decided that you should get a cute codename to match our team name! So you're gonna be Meraki Kitten, or Kitten for short if that's okay?" Ragdoll explained excitedly.

I nodded, "Yeah, that's awesome!"

We entered a small room with a cot they said would be mine. As I put my stuff up, Mandalay went over what we'd be doing.

"It'll be mainly training but if we get called you'll come with us to get some experience. I hope you're ready because we don't go easy on heroes in training."

I agreed with a quick nod when a young boy peeked around the doorway. Mandalay introduced him as Kota. With a wave, I returned the favor.

"My name is [Y/N] [L/N]. It's nice to meet you."

He scowled at me before running off. His aunt quickly jumped to his defense, embarrassed.

"Oh, sorry about him. He's not big on heroes."

I smiled softly. "I understand. I'll stay out of his way unless he wants to talk."

With the conversation over, we had a quick meal before I was asleep, preparing for the day ahead.

I woke very early to Ragdoll bursting into my room loudly. "Wakey wakey! Breakfast is ready!"

Wanting to make a good impression, I groggily sat up and followed her to the dining area. Breakfast was oatmeal and strawberries, eaten in a comfortable silence. Afterwards, I was instructed to put on my hero costume and meet them out front.

Upon exiting the building, Tiger explained the training for the day. "We were thinking you could use some endurance training. Today, we want to identify your limits, see the amount of times you can teleport, how many people you can take with you, and work on the drawbacks."

I nodded in acknowledgment and he continued.

"So from now until lunch you'll be teleporting all around this field nonstop." He gestured behind him.

I stood for a moment, awaiting further instruction before I was spurred into action at a loud shout of "GO!"

Four hours later, I was ordered to stop by Tiger waving at me. I had to take a couple breaks and my hearing was shot but I definitely increased how many times I could pop alone.

During lunch, my hearing gradually came back. It mostly returned by the time I finished eating. Pixie Bob led me back to the field where the rest of the team was waiting.

"Now we're gonna see how the amount of people effects your limits. Start with just me and Mandalay." She explained.

With a quick nod, I offered my hands to them before popping across the field. Mandalay smiled before indicating to do it again. Several hours later, I was popping around the field with the entire team. I couldn't hear a thing but I was definitely making progress.

As the sun set, a hand grabbed my shoulder and I stopped. We headed back to the building and I was shown to a hot spring to relax. Soon I was in bed, asleep the second my head hit the pillow.

The next few days followed just as the first. We trained all day as Kota watched. After the fourth day, I was woken up in the middle of the night by Ragdoll bursting into the room.

"Hey Kitten! Get your hero costume on! There was a landslide not too far from here and some campers are in trouble!"

I was dressed and out the door in an instant. I was ushered into a car with the rest of the team and we were on our way. Nerves bubbled in my chest as we approached the scene but I took a deep breath and forced myself to relax.

"Alright, Kitten. So you'll stick with Pixie Bob and pay attention to what we do. We'll let you know what to do, okay?"

I nodded in affirmation and we were out of the car and headed towards the massive mass of dirt and mud down the side of the mountain. It wasn't too far down. Mandalay used her quirk to alert the campers of our arrival and they were quickly located.

It soon became obvious that getting to them would be an issue. Pixie Bob managed to manipulate the earth to make the area more stable before she turned to me, sporting a serious look.

"So it looks like your quirk is gonna come in real handy today. We need you to pop over to the campers and bring them over. Remember to be reassuring and maintain calm," she explained. "The ground may not feel as stable as in the city but stay balanced and bring them up."

"O-okay, I've got this." I shook away my nerves before focusing my attention to the campers down the cliff. With a quick pop, I appeared by the campers. There was a mom, who appeared fine, and two boys. One was holding his arm awkwardly.

I smiled reassuringly. "Hey, don't worry. I'm with the pros, I'm here to help!" I offered my hands. "If you hold onto me, I can get us up real quick."

The mother nodded and grabbed my hand, which prompted her children to follow suit. With a pop, we were up by the others. Mandalay immediately began first aid on the injured one.

As mother began thanking us, Ragdoll gave me a thumbs up. After helping them to a small town, we went back to the camp where the team went over the situation and how I handled it.

"You remained very calm and reassuring, even as your first real rescue. I'm impressed. You've got the temperament for it!" Pixie Bob praised loudly.

After washing up, I was sent to bed and was allowed the final day off. We had ice cream and played around, even having a water balloon fight even Kota participated in. All too soon, it was time to leave.

I said goodbye to everyone and even Kota waved when my cab pulled off. I felt like I had definitely benefited from it. My happiness lasted until my phone regained reception and all my notifications came through. Worry flooded my system. Midoriya, Iida, and Todoroki were attacked?!
