The news was flooded with the story of how my peers, and a pro, were attacked by The Hero Killer: Stain but saved by Endeavor. I'm relieved to read that they're okay but I feel bad for not knowing that they were in trouble in the first place.
A sigh works its way out of my chest. I check my messages to see I've missed several texts.

I respond to my mom first, letting her know I'm on the way home. I'm not sure who the unknown number is so I move onto Kirishima.

yeah, i just saw...i didn't have
reception until just now.
i hope they're okay
Kirishima attended to, I open Shins- Hitoshi's messages.

How's the internship?
Not in another hospital bed,

i'm okay, the internship
was awesome. didn't have
reception though.

A smile eased across my face and I closed my eyes for a moment. My attention is torn when my phone pings.
From: Mom
Awesome! I can't wait to
see you!
I missed you.
To: Mom
i missed you too
When I finally get home, I'm not surprised to see mom isn't there. I head to bed early and my mind drifts to my internship then I'm overcome by sleep.
All too soon, we're back at school. I walk into the classroom to see Kirishima and Sero cackling uncontrollably.
"AHAHA FOR REAL?!!? NO BUT FOR REAL, BAKUGOU?!"
"DON'T LAUGH! ITS STUCK AND WASHING AIN'T FIXING IT!"
A shocked laugh crosses my lips at the sight of Bakugou's hair smoothed down. He zeros in on me and suddenly I'm choking back giggles behind my hand.
"YO, BOYSCOUT- DON'T LAUGH! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU ALL!"
Kirishima tosses an arm around my shoulder to keep himself up, cackling wildly.
"GO AHEAD AND TRY IT, PRETTY BOY! AHHHH BAHAHAHAHAAA!!" Sero howls with laughter, tears in his eyes.
Next thing I know, I'm giggling uncontrollably, leaning on Kirishima as much as he is on me. Bakugou's face goes bright red, hands sparking dangerously then POOF! Suddenly his hair is back to normal and somehow it's just as hilarious.
