I knock three times on 'our', more like theirs, rented houses' door. It takes some time for mother to open them. Shocked, but still happy, she opens her mouth when she sees me.

"Oh, honey!", she tugs me in a hug.

I stand there frozen. I don't want to hug her back. Not after she blamed me for everything like that.

She finally lets go of me and eyes me from head to toes.

"Greg! She's back!", mother yells not taking her eyes off me.

I'm aware I look hungover in Dia's borrowed clothes. Basically, I look like hell. I'm only comforted by the fact that Noah is by my side. I guess my mother is some kind of a witch that can hear other people minds, when she looks at him. Her gaze is shockingly surprised.

"Noah.", mother gasps.

"Amelia, sweetie, where have you been?", Greg appears behind mother and gives me a confused look.

I see Chase's silhouette behind them two. He disappointed me aswell. He did nothing to defend me, he could've at least said it's not all my fault.

"I just came to grab my things. I'm going home with the only person that hasn't betrayed me.", I answer harsh.

I grab Noah's hand and stroll past them. I lock bedroom doors after we're both in.

Noah helps me pack all my things and we're done in almost five minutes. Wasn't as fun as the last time though. He doesn't let me carry any of it. When I open the door, Chase is in front.

He goes stiff when he sees Noah. He stutters few times. I turn to see Noah giving him a death glare. His eyes are dark and hard. Boy, if looks could kill. I feel a bit sorry for him. It's not all of his fault.

"Noah.", I warn.

Noah looks at floor and softens his look when I glance at him. Like a obedient dog.

I look back at Chase which looks like he's practically shitting his pants. He doesn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry it ended this way.", Chase finally says "You seem like a great girl. You don't deserve this."

"It's a bit too late for that, isn't it?", I ask.

Noah's still shooting him with his look. I think I can see drops of sweat forming on Chase's forehead.

"Your mom's great, don't give her a hard time.", Chase says.

"You don't have a right to say anything.", Noah suddenly talks, saying it through his teeth.

Chase looks down and goes back to his room. A thought of warning Noah again crosses my mind, but Chase is already long gone. Mother and Greg stand in front of door giving me a sad look.

"Are you sure you wanna go?", mother asks.

"I've never been more sure in my life.", I give Noah a short look.

I don't think it only refered to my leaving.

Mother tugs me into a weak hug. Once again, I don't return it. I slowly mingle out and go past them.

I leave without a goodbye, just like she did.
