Chapter 2

*Zoe POV*

I woke up to the smell of mint and I felt really warm then I realised I was cuddling something then I remembered...

I slowly peered up trying not to move to much and saw Niall with a little smile on his face and little snores leaving his lips

If I remember rightly me and Niall feel asleep as far away as possible from eachother how we ended up tangled up is a mystery but I'm not complaining

I decided to get up but nialls phone buzzed I walked over it. It had a code on it but I could see on the home screen a text from Harry saying they are having 3 days in London hoping he will be okay

I sneak into the bathroom and tie my hair up into and messy bun and put on a tiny bit of concealer to cover my pimples

I carefully creep out of the bathroom and down the stairs I see a notepad and pen and write a note saying

'I haven't left I'm just down in the music room 😉'

I go down the corridor from the kitchen to the music room there are 3 guitars sitting there two acoustic and one electric there is a piano in the corner a little mini recording studio in the over and also a huge drum kit

I decide to sit down and strum one of the guitars and sing quietly so I don't wake niall

"You wait for a silence

I wait for a word" I sing whilst quietly strumming the guitar

*Niall POV*

I wake up with a empty space beside me wait what no she couldn't of I run into the room she was sleeping in before mine then I quickly run down to the kitchen

I see a pink note 'just down in the music room don't worry I haven't left 😉' I sigh in relief when I here a voice below me

"Lying next to your frame

Girl unobserved" I slowly make my way down the corridor as the noise gets louder I slowly peer through the door it's Zoe wow she's good and is that a guitar

She's singing a song I know so I slowly enter the room and she smiles at me as I pick my guitar up

"Morning" she says twirling her hair enough for me to notice

"Morning did you sleep well"

"Yeah I did" she said blushing

"So do you wanna carry on from where you left off and ill join in if I can get the chords?" I ask worried she might say no

"Yeah sure " she says smiling timidly

She strums the guitar to get the feel for it again she take a breath

"You change your position

And decide the words I say?" I sing slowly looking straight into her blue eyes

"Sat on your sofa

Oh, I try out a smile

And I aim it at you

You always do" at this point we lower our guitars and slowly lean in I can feel her minty breath on my lips at the last minute she pulls away and I fall to the floor

*Zoe POV*

Omg I'm just about to kiss Niall Horan but we just met yesterday maybe I should give it a little time

So I decide to play a little trick he starts to lean in so do to it's so tempting but nooooo at the last minute I pull away making niall fall to the ground

I can't help but giggle

"Hahah" I say not breathing

Niall looks up at me pouting but it soon turns into a smirk

"Ill get you" he says running down the corridor after me

"Ahhhh!!" I scream as he gets closer he grabs me round my waist and throws me onto the sofa he starts to lean in but to my disappointment it's a trick because he starts to tickle me

"Ni....aaaa...llll....ggg..ee..tt..off ...cant..b...r...e..a..v..e" I say Inbetween tickles

"Owch!" I squeal these dam bruises

He quickly gets off me

"Omg Zoe I'm so sorry I didn't mean it " he says quickly but I interrupt him putting my finger to his lips

"It's okay Niall it's not your fault you didn't know" I say without thinking god dammit I'm so stupid

"Didn't know what?" Niall says curiously with worry in his eyes

"It's its just my time of the month that's all" I half lie yes it is my time but there are bruises there I don't want him to find out about he won't care anyway he is to busy

"Are you sure?" he says rubbing my back

"Niall I'm fine stop worrying about me" I say giggling nudging him in the side

He screams out a "owch!"

"Niall what is it I'm so sorry" I say worriedly

"It's my time of the month to you know jeez" he says smirking

"Niall you idiot !" I say laughing at him hitting his arm

"Okay go get ready genius were going out" he says

"Where?"

"Nandos"

"Typical niall but pfft I'm not complaining I feel like chicken" I tell him standing up and ruffling his blond hair his roots are showing but I think it looks amazing

When I get upstairs I have a shower and change into some light blue acid wash jeans with a dark blue tank top and some green nikes nope these aren't my clothes I think they must be Eleanor's but she seems nice well that's what I've heard.

I walk down the stairs to find niall sitting on the sofa in brown chinos and a pain white top with Monday written on crossed out

Simple but affective I thought to myself he obviously did that cause this is just low key we are just friends he doesn't like me even though I might like him maybe a tiny bit.

"You ready?" he says smiling

"Yeah sure" I say smiling back as we walk out of the door and into the car.
