On another note, I'm just gonna describe how the last chapter connects because it's too short to write into its own chapter.
So basically Mary escapes the underground association connected to the mafia (duh). She stops on the way out to wash out her clothes and any blood on her face, and only forgets to clean a little bit of blood off her boot, which I brought up in like the second or third chapter Idk. She sleeps on the street that night, (cuddling her stuffed bunny from five ofc uwu), and starts to walk nowhere in particular. The day after, the 23rd, she stops by a tv store where a newscast is playing, the headline being that the infamous Reginald Hargreeves passed away. She decides to go back to the mansion, knowing that at the very least Pogo, Grace, and Luther will be there, also hoping to run into Vanya, and definitely hoping to see Five.
