Denmark/Matthias

You were once again leaving the house in order to purchase some groceries, which you were not happy about, so you were slumped, initially dragging yourself out of your warm and cozy home. Before you came to Denmark, you lived in (Random Hot Country) so you were not used to the cold weather at all. Carrying you shopping bags, you walked through the frozen pathway. While walking, you ended up slipping on the icy path, letting go of all your bags. You closed your eyes shut, awaiting the feeling of meeting the ground and an immense amount of pain but that didn't happen. You opened your eyes in surprise and looked up to see a familiar Dane with blonde hair defying gravity, giving you a dorky smile.

"Hej (Y/N)! Are you falling for me already?" He asked, whereas you rolled your eyes at the horrible pun.

"No, I didn't fall I simply slipped" you corrected, Matthias helped you back on your feet making sure you were balanced, then began retrieving your fallen groceries.

"Thanks" you reached out to grab the groceries but Matthias kept them out of your reach.

"You need to focus where you're walking instead on focusing on your groceries."

"Yeah, but don't you have to focus as well? What if you slip?" You asked putting your hands on your hip.

"Ha! The King of the North never sli-" As Matthias was walking he slipped and landing on his behind and dropping all the groceries again. You began to laugh hysterically as the Dane was scratching his head in confusion.

"What were you saying oh mighty King of the North?" You reached out your hand to help him up. "How about we split the groceries?" You asked him, still trying to hold in your laughter. He took your hand, sulking and mumbling a faint 'fine'. You both took half of the bags and Matthias still pouting like a child.

"Oh come on, it wasn't that bad besides what are you doing outside in this sort of weather?" You asked, shivering from the extreme temperatures.

"I was just enjoying the weather, It's pretty nice don't cha think?"

"Nice? This is the absolute most awful weather I've experienced in my entire life! I can't wait till Summer comes, you know when it's not cold!" You exclaimed, now pouting while Matthias was laughing his butt off.

"You really don't like the cold do you," he said teasingly.

"Yeah, no shit Sherlock." You retorted. He chuckled at your remark. You both chatted on the way back to your house, surprisingly you enjoyed the Dane's company, no matter how annoying he might've been. When you arrived, you invited him inside for some hot chocolate where you ended up exchanging phone numbers. Once he left, you secretly hoped that he would visit again, not that you would ever tell him that in real life.

Norway/Lukas

(continued from the previous chapter)

It was only when you arrived home that you remembered that you had forgotten your book, you facepalmed yourself for your stupidity when you received a call from an unknown number.

"Hello?" you asked

"Hi, is this (Y/N)?" a monotone voice spoke through the phone.

"Yes, it is and is this Mr Bondevik?"

"Yes but you can just call me Lukas if you want. By the way, you left your book here with me"

"Yeah, I just realised."

"If you want, I could hold onto the book for you and we could meet up at the library tomorrow"

"S-sure, thank you"
