Chapter 2:The Weekends

Your POV

I woke up to the sound of rain drizzling on my window, it was really loud. I loudly groaned and was angry at the dumb rain for disturbing my beauty sleep. I looked over at the digital clock in my room, the big red numbers "9.32 a.m." were on it. I was surprised I had woken up this early, usually on weekends I wake up at 10 plus.

I strolled over towards the bathroom in my room, I opened the tap and let the hot water run into the white polished bathtub. During the time of waiting for the tub to be filled, I took my toothpaste out along with my toothbrush and cup and started brushing my teeth, rubbing away all the germs.

"DIE GERMS, DIE!" I slightly shouted as I didn't want to wake my parents and Brother up.(Didja get the reference?If ya did then you're awesome!)

After successfully killing all germs, I stared my morning routine. I locked my bathroom door and stripped my clothes off and got into the warm, soothing bathtub. I stayed there for about ten minutes then got out as I didn't want my hands to get wrinkles.

I soaked myself in the normal shower and then let the water run down my face and body. When finished, I got out and dried myself with a towel. I put on my clothes, which was a (F/C) T-shirt and some ripped jeans. I tied my Long hair (if ya don't have Long hair then just leave it as it is) into a ponytail. After being pleased with my look, I headed out of the house to explore with my wallet, headphones and other necessary items, not before leaving a note for my dearest mother and Father to read.

Tem skip

After strolling around a bit, I got a little hungry. Luckily for me there was a burger joint near me. I walked over to the fast food place and opened the glass doors. The smell of grease and French fries greeted me when I walked in. There was a slight queue with three people in it, I queued up and waited for my turn.

When it reached me, I looked at the menu placed on the table counter.I pondered for a bit before ordering.

"A double cheese burger set please and thank you."(If you guys can't eat cheese then feel free to change it!)I requested.

The clerk with messy cedar brown hair and goggles nodded. I found his goggles a little weird but decided not to question it. He typed something into the cashier and handed me the queue number and check. I payed the money and thanked him with a smile then walked to the waiting area for food.

About five minutes later my set meal came, I took the tray and walked over to a empty table in the corner. While enjoying the meal, I looked over to the TV set placed near me.

"My name is Katie Killjoy, I am broadcasting to you live at...." after that few sentences I spaced out cause the news was always to boring for me to watch. (Yes that was a reference ;))

I started to think about how school would be like, would I be treated well like my old school or is this school going by nerds and jocks like other schools I have heard about? "I should probably ask mum and dad what was the school's name later, I can't believe I forgot to ask them that." I made a mental note to ask mum and dad about the school.

When I finished eating, I walked out and continued my quest of exploring. After strolling around for a bit, I found a beautiful park with a bunch of colourful flowers and pretty green trees. I couldn't help but question why it was deserted. I didn't mind, of course from its beauty I was attracted to it. I found a bench in the park and sat down. I put on my headphones and played the song, Never Be Alone by Shawn Mendes.

I found the song really peaceful and fitting for the aura of the park. Before I knew it, I had started humming the tune. Eventually, I started to drift off to sleep.

??? POV

I had just finished my shift and was walking towards the beautiful park. I expected it to be quiet like always but surprisingly there was a girl sleeping there on the bench, not just any girl but the customer I had before. I had never seen her around before, she must be new. I walked over to her and tried to wake her up.

"Hey, excuse me miss? Wake up please." I said.

She darted (auto correction changed it to farted lel) awake on the third shake. She blinked and looked around confused. Then her eyes landed on me, her (E/C) eyes made eye contact with my midnight black eyes.

Your POV

"Huh?" I said to myself.

When I opened my (E/C) orbs, they met with some jet black ones. I stumbled back a bit forgetting that I was on the bench in a park, thus I fell off the bench.

"Oof!" I shouted. "Oh it's just you, phew." I continued.

I sat back on the bench and looked at the ship clerk.

"Hello miss, are you alright?" He asked. I nodded my head yes and asked "I'm (Y/N). What's your name?" "It's Max." Max said, his black eyes boring into mine.

"Okayyyyyyy then," I looked at my phone to check the time, when I saw that it was 7.00p.m. I freaked out, I told my parents I would be back by 6.30p.m.! I Guess I slept too Long. "I gotta go, Max, thanks for waking up!Hope to see you again." I waved goodbye as he returned the wave. I heard a faint "bye" while I ran off towards the direction of my house.

"I'm back!" I screamed.

"Oh thank god you're back, your letter told us you would be back by 6.30." Mum screamed in reply from the kitchen, I'm guessing she was making dinner. I just shrugged cause I was too tired to explain.

"I'm skipping dinner. I had food already" I said. I heard an "okay hun" then swatted back to my bedroom, once again, face-palming on my comfy bed.

Welp, hope ya peeps enjoyed this chappie. I know there has not been much action but ya met Max today. Anyways next chappie is you going to school, and I have decided that it will be a nerd and jock thingy, AU? Anywayz ,just get hyped up. Many thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed.
