Chapter 26: Saved [2]

(Y/N)'s POV
Ben and I linked arms, supporting me as I walked. My legs were numb from sitting down for way too Long. We walked out of the single door, scouting the place carefully for other Guards, we didn't want to get caught now did we?

"Okay, I think it's clear." Ben whispered, in the most quiet time he could muster. I nodded as we walked through the stone corridor, we were in some sort of shack that had an underground route.

A little while back; before Ben found you**
Ben's POV
We were looking around the area alone. We each went our different ways of north,
south, east and west.

I went north as the rest went their own directions, walking through the dim lit forest, i encountered an old wooden house. A classic shack that would be in a horror movie, and the fact that it was barely light out didn't help either.

I sucked up a ball of courage and walked into the old small house, I could hear distant talking and foot steps as I proceeded through the house.

"So what we gonna do with the girl, boss?" I heard.

"Keep her till Satan bitch comes."

"But when is she gonna come?"

"Soon, I can feel her." As that was said, maniacal laughter echoed through the room.

Creepy. What does he mean by 'I can feel her'? Anyways, I ignored the weird conversation and had now confirmed that (Y/N) was here. I dialled Maple's number as it rung,

"Benjamin." She said.

"I found where hun- (Y/N) is." I corrected.

"Mhm, send me the location, I'll tell the rest." She said as I put down the phone and texted her the location I was at.

I decided that I couldn't wait any longer for them to come, so I started exploring the place more, in secret of course. Nobody seemed at notice me yet, at last, the usefulness of my ability.

I traveled through the shadows quietly as multiple people talked, there didn't seem to be many Guards around. While sneaking around, I figured out why there weren't many Guards around.

It was because I was at the wrong level.

This is some messed up shit right now. I cursed in my mind as I found a trap door somewhere in the bedroom of the house, the door lead to an unknown underground area which was massive, I'm gonna have a hard time finding (Y/N) now.

Stalking around, there were much more Guards underground than on the surface. And most of them were armed with guns, which I think is illegal. But they don't look like they fucking care.

I continued advancing through the roots till I found a room with a label on it, it said,

"EXPERIMENT"

Experiment? What the fuck does that mean? It should've been important since it was guarded, two Guards were standing outside the door, perhaps (Y/N) is in there.

There seemed to be in windows through the room for me to peak in, I huffed as I decided we had to do it the old fashion way,

My eyes started bleeding an unknown liquid as the atmosphere in the corridor I was in got a lot darker. I disappeared into the shadows as the Guards looked around, they seemed afraid, that's good.

My voice came out glitchy and distorted, the Guards seemed even more scared now, that made my grin widen. I was still hiding in the shadows as one of the Guards, boldly cocked his gun and shouted, "who's there?!"

I laughed maniacally at his bravery, they really don't know who their messing with. Upon hearing my laugh, he shot in the direction he heard it coming from, I narrowed my eyes and dodged the bullet.

"уоц ₴ноцldи'т нДvё dоиё тнДт."

I went into their phones which were hidden in their back pockets, as I slowly crept out of the shadows.

As I did that, they saw my distorted form, before they could scream I hushed them, I swatted them away as I was feeling merciful today.

They immediately ran as I changed back into my normal form, i opened the labeled door to see (Y/N) strapped to a chair, her hands tied up, and when her voice came out horse and raspy,

I knew someone needed to die tonight.
