Diego went into the hallway with Y/n to see where the shots were coming from. Y/n saw the two people with the weird masks from the clothes store, holding guns. Diego grabbed her hand, running down the hallway into a room. He then realized what he did and let go. They stayed as close as they could to the wall.

Diego saw that one of the people were right in front of the door way. He jumped out and started throwing punches. Y/n stepped into the doorway.

One of the masked people yelled, "Shoot him!"

"Get out of the way, dumbass!" The other one cursed. She electrocuted the person fighting Diego, as the other started shooting. Diego ran back down the hallway, pulling Y/n with him.

"Where are we going? The fight's that way." Y/n slightly pulled against Diego's grip.

"Just jump!" He jumped over the banister, holding Y/n close to him, onto the couch as Hazel and Cha-Cha shot at them.

They crawled to behind the couch. Y/n noticed Diego looking at his father's portrait that had many gun shots in it. They put their heads down as Hazel and Cha-cha walked in. Diego and Y/n quickly moved to the side of the couch as they shot at them again.

The shooting stopped all of a sudden and Y/n looked up. Luther and Allison had started fighting Hazel and Cha-Cha. One of them, either Hazel or Cha-Cha, started choking Allison with one hand. Diego and Y/n ran over to her.

Diego jumped on the persons back, repeatedly hitting him. "Let her go!" Luther came and threw the person as Y/n was about to electrocute him.

"Who the hell are these guys?" Allison asked backing up, next to Luther. Y/n stood next to Allison, knowing exactly who these guys were. But she couldn't tell or else, she would be questioned.

"You're welcome." Luther looked at Diego.

"I was doing fine" Diego stood in front of the couch, slightly yelling at Luther.

"Oh, yeah, you really had them—" Luther sarcastically said.

"Ever heard of rope-a-dope?" Diego joked, then ducked the bullets that were heading toward him.

Y/n hid behind the couch as Luther was shouting and pushing Allison away, "Get out of here now! Go!"

"Luther, go!" Diego yelled. He was laying on the floor with his hands on head. Y/n just sat there behind the couch, calmly, well as calm as she could be.

The shooting stopped and Y/n heard their conversation, "I'm going after them." One spoke as they walked pasted Y/n, who had crawled back to the side of the couch.

"I lost my gun." The other one said, walking over to a glass case. Taking out a flail weapon, a ball with spikes attached to a stick.

"Hello?" Vanya asked. Y/n scowled in silence.

"Why? Why, Vanya? Why, couldn't you have come a little later?" Y/n thought.

"Guys?" Vanya paused, "Is everyone okay? Hello? Guys?" Y/n poked her head up a little, seeing Vanya stand in the doorway. She walked in the living room, looking around for everyone. The person was about to hit Vanya when Y/n electrocuted him.

"Vanya," Y/n motioned her over, "over here."

The guy got back up and was about to hit Y/n. He then looked over to where the noise had come from, "Hey, asshole!" It was Luther. The guy ran at Luther, swinging his weapon around. The guy threw Luther on the ground.

"Y/n, get Vanya out of here!" Luther yelled.

"Eh, come on." Y/n slowly walked over the wood frame of the door frame. They pressed theirselves against it and listened to the fighting noises of Luther and the masked man. The fighting stopped and Y/n pushed herself and Vanya against the wall even more. Y/n knew those weren't Luther's footsteps, or else he would have spoken already.

"Luther!" Y/n eased up, walking into the room with the chandelier, after hearing Allison's voice. "Come on, Luther, get up."

"Ah, you gotta cut down on that fast food, soldier." Diego joked, helping his brother up.

"Get out of the way!" Luther pushed Allison and Diego out of the way as the chandelier fell. Luther slowly got up, his shirt sticking to the chandelier. Everyone was staring, nobody knew that Luther was half-man half-ape; mostly man. He was covered in hair. That explains why he's so big.

"Holy shit." Diego mumbled. Y/n and Vanya stood in the door frame. Y/n didn't really care, it was just another monkey here. Luther stared at Allison before running upstairs.

Allison looked at Diego, then toward Vanya and Y/n. She noticed Vanya and came over to her. Vanya spoke softly, "Did you know?

Allison answered, looking at the staircase, then back at Vanya and Y/n, "No."

Diego heard Grace humming, "Shit, mom." He ran up the stairs.

Y/n walked over to the chandelier, leaving Allison and Vanya in there conversation. "What a shame, it had a long life ahead." Y/n joked, wiping a fake tear from her eye. She smiled, walking upstairs to check on Grace. "If she was broken, we would have heard Diego crying already." Y/n thought.

"Diego? What are you doing?" Grace asked as Diego was kneeling. He had her arm in his hands, he looked very sad and distraught. He peeled back her skin on her arm, revealing robotic parts and wires.

"It's going to be o—" He started crying softly.

"Remember what we worked on. Just picture the word in your mind." Grace reminded him.

"It's going to be okay," He stuttered, "Mom."

"Di–e–go re... mem... ber." Grace slurred before shutting off. Diego sat there silently crying.

Y/n walked over to him, wrapping her hands around his neck. She didn't know very much about actual emotions, but Allison told her that 'hugs make everything better.' She patted his back. "It's okay. Let it out." He cried only a little harder. He looked up, wiping the tears off of his face.

"Are you going to tell?" He sniffled, wiping away more of his tears.

"I won't tell about any of this, I promise." She stuck her pinky finger out, he latched on.

"You're so childish." He said as he shook his head, pushing her hand away.

"I have to be." Y/n smiled, helping him up.
