I was sat in between Paul and john and for some reason i felt uneasy like something was going to happen and i did not like it especially as Cynthia took some stomach cramps and went home leaving me the only girl among the boys.
I was in the middle of listening to Paul tell me about how he got interested in music when John grabbed my wrist
" you promised me a dance Tia" he said with that smirk on his face again that made you want to hug him
" we are kind of in the middle of a conversation" Paul said annoyed at Johns grasp for attention
" Paul you were boring the poor girl to death its her first time in a bar she is still sipping her first beer she has hardly danced and is now enduring having to listen to you proclaim how fantastic you are well im going to claim my dance that she said i could have"
I looked at Paul confused while going to the dance floor with John
Sadly it was a slow song so he pulled me close to him while we swayed side to side
" you were really rude to Paul that was un called for lennon" i said angry
" don't get bitchy with me i was just wanting to show you a good time"
" i was having a good time"
John looked at me like i was insane
" you were enjoying listening to Paul whinge on about how bloody great he is"
" yeah i was and he was not winging "
" well i can see that you are now Pauls property"
" im nobody's property. im his girlfriend"
" not for long"
" what do you mean by that"
" you wont be his girlfriend for long you will be mine"
I was shocked by what he was saying i did not know if he was saying this because of the alcohol or if he liked me but i felt uneasy
" you have a girlfriend you do remember her" i sneered
" Cynthia is boring she is so dull and i would dump her in a heartbeat if i could get with you"
" well you will be with Cynthia for along time because im with Paul and you wont change that"
" just you wait Tia you will fall in love with me and one day you will be mine" he said as the song ended and i stormed back to Paul
" are you ok Tia you look annoyed"
" im ok Paul just ready to go home its been a eventful day and we have school again tomorrow and im tired"
" i will walk you home"
" don't be silly you stay and enjoy yourself ill be ok its not far"
" no girlfriend of mine is walking home alone and im ready to go as well"

" paulie" he asked amused
" yeah its my nickname for ya"
We got our coats and made our way outside and the fresh air felt lovely against my skin it felt like the wind was bringing me back to life
I snuggled close to Paul as we walked in silence but it was a comfortable silence until we heard lennon shout as he ran to catch up with us
'" wait up ya fuckers" he shouted while we stopped allowing him to catch up
" imagine ya's leaving me behind especially as i promised your dad i would look after you"
" you looked like you were having fun plus it is still early so i thought you would want to stay on " paul said " plus she has me to look after her"
" well her dad didnt ask you to look after he he asked me"
" only because i have not met him yet"
" well i have met him he is called Bert"
" you only met him because you insisted on walking the girls to the club"
" will you's please stop bickering jeez does it matter who walked me where who met my dad who hasn't who is looking after me and so on. you's are like two bickering kids" i say storming off
" its my first night out in Liverpool im still trying to figure everything out and my night ends in two grown ass men bitching at each other over i dont even know what it is over but it has pissed me off. Paul ill see you tomorrow in school. John ill see you in art class ok now bye"
" Tia you cant walk home alone " Paul shouts
" yes i can and you are going to miss your bus"
" Paul go and catch your bus before you are having to walk it and ill walk Tia home and i promise there will be no funny business" John says
" fine but im trusting you Lennon i really like her and i dont want you ruining it for me"
John caught up with me and we walked in complete silence until we reached my house
" buy John" i say turning away from him
" do i not even get a goodnight hug" he whined
i gave him a quick hug and walked into my house and ran up to bed and fell onto the bed
