I saw a irritable-looking man, who looked like he was in his late 40's maybe, due some wrinkles visible on his face. Although, he hadn't started balding yet.
He wore a grim face, and furrowed eyebrows.
He always seemed to be unhappy about something as if he was dared to choose this career.

He had on a sublimely fitting dark vest, and a perfectly ironed button-up shirt under it. He also sported sad, grey pants, that he seemed to have spilled coffee on that morning.
Every step he took was loud because of his dress shoes.

This guy,of course, was the school's principal.

"You are in big trouble, Rose." He said spitting venom along with my unfitting last name.

I finally turned on my heel to look him in the eye.

Before I could say anything, he grabbed my wrist, and dragged me away.

I watched as nurses gathered to pick up the girls because apparently some of them weren't able to get back up.

In the Principal's office
" WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?" He yelled, lecturing you about how 'vile' it was to beat up those 'innocent' girls.
I honestly hadn't been really attentive to his little rant, picking dirt out of my nails, trying to stall until he was finally done talking.

"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME!?" He bellowed.

"Hm? Yeah." I answered nonchalantly. I was on mind auto-pilot, so this answer wasn't the most 'intelligent' to say the least. "Then, what did I just say?" He looked like he was ready to kill me if I didn't answer correctly. " um" was all I could really say because, again, I was never paying attention, and my brain probably already walked out my ear and went home.
"You leave me no choice." He said in a shaky tone picking up the phone. "I'm calling your mother.".

For a normal kid, this is horrifying. The thought of their parents knowing about what you did in school. They could be grounded, they can take what gives them happiness.. if I were a normal kid with normal parents, I would be terrified.

Problem is.. my mom is anything but normal.

So, the principal calling her was the least I'd ever need to worry about.
" Yes, your child is responsible for harming 5 students, some with injuries." He said formally with the weirdest, most child-hating smirk I've ever seen. You could barely hear your mom on the other side. "Ok." was all she said. The principal's smile quickly disappeared looking furious and confused at the same time, "Wha-" was all he could say before she hung up.

He growled something under his breath.

Something that would have been safe for him not to say.

"..these brainless folk raising these senseless children...

"....want to just knock the sense into 'em..."

He sat up straight thinking he wasn't heard.

What the fuck did you say about my mom?

Your eyes were full of anger, your hair casting a deadly shadow over your now green orbs.

Mom's POV

'Injured some some students, ay?'

I had to hang up so that principal wouldn't hear me fucking laughing my arse off.

Even though I had clearly remembered the day I found her in a basket, under a tree, we are so much more alike than I thought we could be.

I decided not to change my clothes and went off.

-Few minutes later-

I arrived at the school by foot, and went up the stairs to the principal's office.

'I hope that kid's alright'

I opened the door.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING BRAINLESS?!?"

I saw the kid punching the principal over and over again for some reason.

"Usually I have to take something to see shit like this." I said in complete confusion with so little context of the situation.

She finally noticed my arrival, and finally stopped punching him at looked up at me.

" Oh, hi mom."

Your POV

My blind rage was halted by none other than my mom.

She always had shown a history of always comforting, and helping me cool off when I've lost my temper in times like this.
She was always calm in the most stressful situations, and it seemed like she always knew what to do.

I guess this was why I admired her so much.

"Oi kid, we gotta go!" She said snapping you out of it. I nodded quickly as she sounded urgent.

You jumped the desk, and walked to the door in a hurry.
You saw your mother walk over to the, now, knocked out principal. To your surprise, she too, punched him in the face.
Although, as strange as it was, you saw bright energy bursting from her fist. When it made contact, and she moved towards you, you noticed his face was healed.

You wanted to ask about it, but without warning, she picked you up off the ground, and began running towards the window behind the principal's desk.

"We're taking a shortcut."
