While telling the story, he seemed a bit confused, but still interested at the same time. I had also skipped over the parts including the mention of my mom's death and the part about the strange spirit as I just felt it wouldn't be worth mentioning to him anyway.

I had finally finished the story. "Sorry it sounds so weird, but that's what happen-

"I believe you" He firmly said.

I was puzzled. "Wait, you really believe me?"
As I was initially expecting him to say how unrealistic and fake it was.
As that would be an understandable reaction.
If I were him I wouldn't even believe myself.

"Yeah" he confirmed. "It doesn't sound like you were making it up, and doesn't sound like you could make it up either."

I guess that made sense.

"Thanks, Jotaro" I said in gratitude, glad he didn't say I was crazy or something.

"I told you to call me Jojo"

"Oh yeah." I said recalling he had said that.
I laughed to myself.

"What's up" He asked.

"It reminded me of something, your nickname."
"My mom used to tell me stories of some guy named Jojo who saved the world and shit."
How ironic.

The look in my eyes fell remembering why I suppressed these memories.

He looked at me for a bit, and finally said "I'm sorry for your loss."

"How did you" I asked surprised

"The look in your eyes I guess." He paused. "It's familiar."
"My father isn't home too often.. it's just such a familiar feeling.."

"I see" I answered.

He broke the silence once more.
"So, you lied to my mom, right?"

He knew about that, too!?

"Do you have somewhere to stay?" He asked sounding concerned.

I nodded 'no'

"Don't you have a friend..or someone?"

I nodded 'no' once again.

"That'll change alright?"
I looked at him quizzically.

"I'll be your friend."

"Really?" I said surprised. I've never experienced this before, this feeling..

"Yeah" he answered warmly.

..It's so comforting.
