Chapter 40- Another World

A year has passed..

I lay tired in driver seat of the empty van, staring blankly at the ceiling.
I lack energy nowadays, and was currently living off a pack of bananas an old lady gave me, which I was grateful for.

The sun had already gone down, the moon glimmering above me.

I yawned then closed my eyes, with that I was off to the realm of dreams.

I was now laying down on grass, or at least I think it's grass.
It glowed a soft blue, illuminating the world around me. It looked as if it went on for miles and miles, farther than the horizon.
The sky was emerald green, delicate strokes of red across it all.

I saw the silhouette of a woman next to me, and realized who it was immediately.

"Mom?"

She smiled and nodded.
"I bet you have so many questions"
