a burnt hue set into my skin,
leaving sunset kisses and sunshine wishes.
a smoky cloud filled my mind as his hue faded away,
as the memories scattered up and out of my brain.
a feeling of loss and regret washed over my body,
much like the waves that crashed over us far before you left.
