we were both,
but a speck,
in the grand scheme,
of time,
and life itself.and yet,
i just couldn't help,
but to compare,
your immaculate beauty,
to the entire cosmos:with her lovely
and beautiful galaxies,
her breathtaking constellations,
how she pulls
moons and planets and stars.i compared you,
as if we were immortal,
and worthy of the comparison.
worthy of the very thing,
that keeps us spinning,
day in
and day out.i compared you,
as if you were the sun,
pulling and pushing others,
without even a second thought,
moving and drawing,
enchanting others with your beauty.i compared you,
but you -
unique,
and unlike any star,
i could ever find,
up in that black,
mysterious abyss -
are my own little,
spectacular solar system,
way beyond any comparison,
i could even think to give:
full of love,
life,
and wonder.and i couldn't dare,
ever asking for,
my own little cosmos,
when he's sitting,
right in front of me,
shining bright and boldly,
for only me.
