my prayer to the sun is,
to keep shining bright,
despite other's protests.
despite my own moans and growns,
of the summer's heat.
because without your bright
blistering heat,
we wouldn't be alive enough
to complain.
so keep on going,
shine your brightest days away,
and maybe one day,
we'll truly appreaciate,
what you've given us.
