Ding!

The blondie rushed towards the kitchen, the strawberry aroma hitting his nostrils and his eyes crinkling at the way he smiled

He took his kitty mittens out and opened the oven door, the vapors filled with strawberry scent making him hum in content.

He carefully took his strawberry cake out and added the whipped cream and fresh strawberries to it, licking his lips which were waiting to devour the sugary dessert.

He was about to dig into it until he stopped.

He thought about his neighbor/crush who was the reason this tasty cake could have been made

He placed the strawberry cake into a cake stand and rushed out of his home towards his neighbor's house.

He rang the doorbell and a slight pink was adamant on his cheeks with a shy smile on his lips.

The door opened once again and there he stood, messy ebony hair, matching the color of the door, same clothes he wore in the morning.

Taehyung bit his lips

"I-i brought you cake" he said and showed jungkook the cake who smiled at him making his heart flip a 360°

"Thank you so much! Come inside" jungkook said and shifted for taehyung to come inside

Taehyung was frozen at the spot, did his crush just call him inside his home?

He gulped as his legs turned jelly

"Come in" jungkook called out once again, breaking taehyung's daze whose pink blush now turned red.

He got inside the house with small steps, holding the cake tray tightly so that it doesn't slip out of his hand because of how fast his heart was beating

He looked behind him to see jungkook shutting the door and walking towards him and smiling

"Make yourself comfortable please" jungkook said and went inside the kitchen which was attached to the living room.

Taehyung sat on the couch and watched jungkook's every move curiously

"I was thinking nothing would be more great than a cake with iced coffee" jungkook said and brought two cups of iced coffee and placed them on the table in front of the couch.

"That too strawberry cake" taehyung grinned.

He saw jungkook look at him for a second before averting his gaze to which taehyung tilted his head in confusion

Jungkook sat beside taehyung who was busy placing the cake on the table and cutting pieces.

Taehyung looked at jungkook and his blush reddened more if it could

He shyly gave a plate to jungkook with the cake piece in it and a fork, while taking one for himself

"So taehyung, let's talk about ourselves"
