Taehyung gulped the heavy knot formed in his throat, trying to clear his vision away from the tears pricking at the sides of his eyes as he looked at Eun-bi wrapping her arm around jungkook's bicep and jungkook standing there stiff.

Taehyung faked a smile as he looked at Eun-bi and bowed

"Nice to meet you, Eun-bi. I am taehyung, your neighbor" taehyung smiled and Eun-bi rolled her eyes

"Welcome to our home, taehyung" Eun-bi said in a mocking way and taehyung looked down

"Eun-bi, you don't have to be so rude" jungkook whisper shouted in eun-bi's ear

"Oh you shut up, I'll handle you later. First, get rid of this man right here" she side eyed taehyung who was nervously looking down and jungkook whipped his head towards the said male

Jungkook's eyes held a certain guilt and pain as he looked at taehyung. He feels as if taehyung is hurt

And somehow, it pains his heart too.

"Leave my hand, Eun-bi we'll talk about this later" jungkook snickered as he removed eun-bi's hand from his and walked towards taehyung

"Hey Tae, it's time for your shift, shall I take you to your home?" Jungkook asked and taehyung looked up biting his lip

"No, it's fine. I live by the side only" taehyung faked a smile but jungkook could see through it.

"Please" jungkook hung that hopeful glance among his eyes which made taehyung have second thoughts about his choice

"Fine, only if Eun-bi would agree" taehyung said in a small and sad tone

"Eun-bi you'll allow it, right?" Jungkook asked sternly while glaring at Eun-bi who was actually shocked seeing jungkook behaving like this with her for the first time.

"Sure" she rolled her eyes and went upstairs, too tired of the drama

Jungkook smiled at taehyung before grabbing his hand and briskly walking out of the door.

Taehyung widened his eyes when he felt jungkook's hand in his, his heart flying out of his chest and a wild blush around his face

They reached taehyung's home and taehyung quickly retracted his hand from jungkook's.

Jungkook was a little (alot) disappointed by the fact that the other snatched his hand away but he's not gonna show it out

Taehyung opened his door and stepped inside

"Goodbye, jungkook" taehyung waved the boy and was about to close the door but jungkook held it

"Wait Tae! I wanted to have crepes tomorrow. So will it be okay?" Jungkook asked as he rubbed the back of his nape, actually feeling flustered but he doesn't know why

"I am not sure" taehyung said in a small voice and jungkook looked up

"Look taehyung, don't mind my girlfriend. She acts rude with everyone sometimes and I know you didn't deserve all that. I'll tell her not to behave like this ever again, especially with you" jungkook said, real worry laced in his eyes

Why especially me, kookie?

"Sure! I'll come at your house at 9" taehyung gave a small smile

"Actually....... let's make the crepes at your home" jungkook suggested and taehyung widened his eyes

"You've never come to my house" taehyung said

"That is why, I wanna come to your house. Because, I wanna know you"
