Surprise!
It was so awkward between them, taehyung was sitting beside jungkook and both had their heads buried in the ground as they fiddled with their fingers thinking of who will speak first?
And jungkook was getting impatient
He turned towards taehyung and grasped his hands. Taehyung widened his eyes and snapped his head towards jungkook, his heart bursting inside his chest, a huge blooming blush over his cheeks
"Tae, i am so sorry for acting stupidly that day but the thing is that i was feeling upset that you make desserts with someone else. I felt.....replaced" jungkook said, lowering his head but the grip on taehyung's hands was tight
Taehyung's heart was beating erratically inside his chest
"Jungkook, i can never replace you" taehyung softly spoke and it calmed jungkook down
"Then what about your boyfriend?" jungkook spoke through gritted teeth
"Actually......this is so stupid but hoseok is not boyfriend" taehyung mumbled out and jungkook was shocked
He doesn't know but he was so relieved from inside
"So....why?" he asked. That's where taehyung panicked, fiddling with his fingers, trying to think of an excuse
"I felt jealous" he mumbled and jungkook's breath hitched, heart pumping vigorously
"J-jealous? O-of what?" jungkook stammered, startled that he stuttered
"Jealous of yours and your girlfriend's relation because i have no one that i like" taehyung lied, gulping the lump in his throat, obviously he wouldn't tell jungkook that he likes him, he can hide it forever if he wants to
"Oh" it was the only thing he could mutter, he has mixed feelings
Happy, sad and confused
But he shrugged all of them
"Anyways, let's forget everything and go back to how we were before, okay?" Jungkook met taehyung's eyes, both smiling at each other and taehyung nodded
"Good, because I wanna make sweets with you once again!" Jungkook chirped and taehyung's smile dropped before replacing with a sad one
You just wanna make sweets with me while I'm imagining stupid things
"Yes!" Taehyung chirped even though his heart hurts
"By the way, i sneaked you something while coming from home" jungkook smiled and taehyung looked at him curiously
Jungkook took a plastic container from eun-bi's bag and gave it to taehyung
Taehyung looked at it and there was mochi sweets inside it. Taehyung's second favorite sweet and the sweet he had been craving for a long time
He gasped and shot a boy grin to jungkook, whose heart tumbled inside his chest
"OMG! Thank you so much Kookie! I have been craving for this for so long!" Taehyung exclaimed and jumping towards jungkook
And kissing his cheek
