The knock was heard on the ebony door yet again and the ravenette rushed to open the door, happy that the other had come just in time when he placed the cookies in the oven.

He opened the door to let taehyung inside the house, a big grin on his lips as he saw the other's beautiful face.

He has never dated a boy, even then he can really tell that taehyung is the prettiest man he has seen.

"Welcome Tae!" He exclaimed and taehyung blushed at the nickname. Obviously, jungkook meant nothing with that

They're just neighbors.

"You came right on time, I just placed the cookies in the oven" jungkook said, rubbing his dough covered hands on the apron

Taehyung finally looked at him and chuckling at his state. Messy hair, cookie dough sticking to it and everywhere over him, on his face, apron and hands.

"I'm not that neat person while making something, I eventually end up getting flour everywhere" jungkook chuckled as he wiped his face, resulting more dough to stick over his face.

Taehyung chuckled as he looked at him struggling with the dough so he went near him and gripped his shoulders

"Let me do it. You're failing ridiculously" taehyung giggled and it made jungkook smile unintentionally

Taehyung tiptoed to reach jungkook's height and took the bits of dough out of his hair, focusing over the dough and one hand over his biceps for support

Jungkook couldn't help but notice this. They were close, dangerously close but taehyung was too concentrated over the dough to notice this.

But jungkook did so, a light pink shade rushing upto his cheeks.

Taehyung then started removing the dough from jungkook's soft skin and that's where he realized how close they were and he quickly backed away, widening his eyes and a red blush over his face, slightly darker than the one on jungkook's face

"I'm sorry I-i didn't e-even notice what I was doing!" Taehyung exclaimed out

"It's fine, Tae. Plus you were helping" jungkook laughed it off but from the inside he was feeling giddy, he doesn't know why

Taehyung was about to say something but the ding occured in the oven, signalling that the cookies were ready so jungkook rushed in the kitchen to take them out.

Taehyung, in the meantime sat on the couch while looking at jungkook with heart eyes

He still can't get over the fact that jungkook is in a relationship and it brings tears in his eyes everytime. He still thinks jungkook is a petty crush of him and he'll get over it but whenever he sees the other, it feels difficult to believe that he's just a crush

"Let's dig in" jungkook said and placed the tray of cookies on the table while taehyung hummed in content when the smell of the cookies hit his nostrils

He felt hungry and quickly grabbed one, not even thinking that they were really hot hence burning his skin. He dropped the cookie while hissing in pain as the burning sensation appeared on his fingers

"Tch, who told you to hurry up" jungkook tutted before taking taehyung's hand in his and blowing air over it to cool it down

Taehyung looked at jungkook, a crimson blush over his face and heart leaping out of his chest.
