"Taehyung...." He said and pulled the other in a hug. Taehyung was sobbing but confused as to why jungkook isn't hating him

"Taehyung, I know I never caught your hints, i was being oblivious and stupid. Only if I would have figured my feelings before you wouldn't have gotten so much pain and that too from me" jungkook said and taehyung was totally confused now

"What are you trying to say jungkook?" He asked, his heart beating rapidly with nervousness

" What I am trying to say is I don't think I will ever meet someone that could really compare to you. I could see all sorts of people, and no matter who they are or what they say, they can't capture my attention quite the way you can. I could talk to all sorts of other people, yet I always find myself thinking about how they're not quite as charming as you, or they don't make me laugh quite as genuinely. I know people always say your first love is the person you compare everyone to, but maybe they've got it wrong. Maybe the person you compare everyone to isn't your first love, but your true love. Your soulmate"

"If only I would have figured my feelings out before all this drama wouldn't have happened. Taehyung couldn't believe what he was hearing. It felt as if either jungkook was joking or this was a dream

"And about Eun-bi, i broke up with her tae, she was never the one for me but i know that you're the person I can call my soulmate, my true love" he said, intertwining his hands with taehyung's who was frozen at the spot

"So I would understand if you would say no and I'll happily accept rejection. So will you do the honors to be my boyfriend, Kim taehyung?" Jungkook gulped, his heart beating rapidly and wondering what taehyung would answer

He waited for a while but there was no answer

"Tae...." Yet the other just looked at him with no words spoken

His heart shattered, chest tightening and tears pricking his eyes but he wanted to feel the same pain which taehyung felt

"I-i-it's okay. I'll leave you to yourself" he said, leaving taehyung's warm hands and turning back

He was about to walk away when he found two arms wrapped around his torso and wet tears staining the back of his shirt

He was startled as he heard taehyung sob while back hugging him

"I don't want you to leave, jungkook. I want you to hold me back and embrace me in your arms, protecting from the world, from all those guys. I know you realized it late but I am happy that you figured it out. I want this pain to end, so please make it go and hug me so tightly that I wouldn't even be able to leave you" taehyung sobbed in jungkook's shirt

Jungkook blinked rapidly to prevent his tears from falling as he turned and immediately hugged taehyung back who started to cry even harder but jungkook rubbed his back while he was shivering in his embrace

Jungkook pecked the other's blonde hair and calmed him down

After a few minutes taehyung's sobs had turned into sniffles

Jungkook broke the hug and took taehyung's hands in his

"Tae.....would you be my boyfriend?" He asked once again and taehyung gave a smile from his swollen lips

"You don't even need to ask, jungkook" taehyung said as he jumped to hug jungkook once again

"So will you bake the same cake you did for the first time for me?" Jungkook asked as taehyung giggled but choking on his tears but still nodded

"That's good because I want to make my famous pancakes for you every morning when you wake up in my arms" jungkook said nuzzling taehyung's hair

They stayed like that for a while before breaking the hug and smiling at each other

"I love you taehyung but these three words aren't enough to express how much I really love you" jungkook said

"I-i love you too, kookie" taehyung smiled and jungkook mirrored his smile

"So shall we go? I miss your cakes, boyfriend" taehyung blushed as soon as jungkook called him that

"Y-yes" he said and they started to walk before jungkook pulled him closer and intertwined their hands while taehyung gave a shy smile

"Were you really that jealous of baekhyun?" Taehyung asked and jungkook rolled his eyes before wrapping his hand over taehyung's waist protectively

"Yes I was and would be always, but I am happy to finally say that you are mine" jungkook said and taehyung smiled before pecking jungkook's cheek who widened his eyes at taehyung and blushed

"C-can you do it once again?" Jungkook blushed but asked anyways

Taehyung giggled to himself before he ran forward, getting himself out of jungkook's grip

"Catch me if you want another one" taehyung giggled

Jungkook smirked before running after him while taehyung let out a shriek and running faster

Soon jungkook caught up with taehyung, both giggling while jungkook caged taehyung in his manly hands

"Even if you'd want to run away from me, I won't let you

Because I love you so much"
