Taehyung smiled as he sat on the seat.
"Thank you for coming" he said to the person sitting in front of him
"Oh no, it's totally fine. Actually I love seeing your pretty face" the other smiled and taehyung blushed
"I hope you don't have work" he smiled
"Oh no, i don't" taehyung gave a half hearted smile
He looked out of the cafe through the window, his smile dropping
He lied to jungkook about going to work. He lied, like he always does
"So taehyung, what are you doing right now?" The man asked as he looked at taehyung with glittery eyes
Running away from life
And someone
"I work as a vet. I had work today but I wanted to take a day off since a lot of things have been happening in my life right now" taehyung gave a lopsided smile
"That's sad. But I'm here to help" the man said as he kept his hand over taehyung's who blushed
"Thanks" he said and the other smiled at him
"So taehyung what things do you like to do?" He asked
"I like to bake things with—" he paused
"I like to bake sweets" he smiled
"That's really nice. I hope we would bake something together" the other smiled and taehyung couldn't give the smile back
How could he?
There's only one person with whom he could bake something
See this is why he feels the stupid one, every fucking thing in the universe keeps taking him back to jungkook's thoughts
He'll never be able to forget him if he keeps thinking about him. And it hurts knowing that jungkook loves him just as a friend and already has a girlfriend
Only if he could go back in time and stopped himself from the damn doorbell of jungkook's house, stupidly asking him for sugar and taking the cake to his house
Only if he could go back in time and hide himself forever from jungkook
He was brought back in reality by the man in front of him who was snapping his finger in front of taehyung
"Where did you get lost Tae" the man chuckled
Taehyung's heartbeat fastened hearing the name. He knew the name would only sound beautiful coming from a certain person's mouth
"What do you wanna do now, baekhyun?"
