So remember that highschool kid who wrote and updated fanfics like a madwoman, and had a dream of becoming a Self-Pulished author? (On Quotev, I have been writing for almost 5 years)
That kid (me) is at Cambridge and became a Self-Published author of a saga called Thorns of Life :D The first book is already available for a pre-order, and I am already working on the second one. Today I got my first author's copy or like I call it, my brain-child XD
I've been writing in the language that's not even my mother-tongue. I fucking published a book at the age of 22.
My point?
If you have a dream, don't you dare ever stop working on it! I mean, just look at me! My first fanfic was full of awful grammar mistakes, my writing was bad, but I didn't stop. I continued writing because I adored writing, and because I believed that I would get better. If I can, then you can too. If you don't believe in yourself then I will believe in you!
Along the way, you will have people who will be by your side so keep those people close cuz' they are fucking amazing.
Anyone who tells you that you can't achieve your dreams; achieve your dreams, and slap them in the face with your accomplishments 😉
