𝙺𝚒𝚖 𝙽𝚊𝚖𝚓𝚘𝚘𝚗I wait for Yoongi to be done as I sit down on the couch while going through my phone notes to look for possible lyrics that I forgot to upload to my laptop. Maybe I should just tell Jin that I'm a rapper? I didn't know how much I could trust him to keep it a secret when I just met him, but he convinced me.
I see Yoongi enter the living room again. He doesn't look much different from normal, making me roll my eyes. He probably fell asleep back there, which is why it took so long.
"When is Seokjin coming?" He asks as he heads towards the door to open it. We step onto the hall as I already hear music reach my ears, but I also see two men turning around because of us opening the door.
"Jin?" I ask confused as he smiles awkwardly. His hair was coloured blonde and swiped away from his forehead. He was wearing black pants that fit him perfectly, matching them with a tucked in pink shirt. He also isn't wearing glasses, but decided to put in contacts. I feel my throat become dry as I smile back.
"Told you I'd come." He breaks the silence as I feel heat raise up to my cheeks. "I brought Hoseok if you don't mind."
"We do, send him back." Yoongi says with crossed arms as everyone turns to him, including Hoseok himself. He raises an eyebrow. "I was joking, chill."
"Well, I don't know you so... Hi, I'm Jung Hoseok." Jins friend smiles at Yoongi as I watch him closely. The corners of Yoongi's mouth turn up slightly as he tries to keep a straight face and act unbothered.
"Min Yoongi." He replies simply. Hoseok turns to Jin as his elder smiles at him.
"Why don't we knock." I suggest, scratching the back of my neck awkwardly. I see Yoongi walk to the door and just open it as we're met with Jimin, looking surprised.
"Yoongi-hyung!" He smiles excitedly. Yoongi nods back as I see Jin push Hoseok inside too. "Seokjin-hyung, you came too." The peach haired male smiles. "You look extremely different from when we knocked on your door."
"My friend gave me a makeover." He smiles sheepishly as I watch Hoseok trying to talk with Yoongi, who does everything he can to look unbothered and bored.
"I like it!" Jimin smiles cheerfully. "Anyway, I'm going back to look for Jeongguk. See ya!" He skips away, telling me he probably drank something already.
I turn back to Jin, admiring his new look. His eyes look even more stunning because of the difference with his hair colour. I smile giving it away that I was daydreaming.
"I know I look weird." Jin says as he catches me smiling. "You look good, though. I like when you don't just wear a hoodie." A blush creeps on my cheeks again.
"Well, I think you look handsome as well. You'll grab someone's attention with that." I smile again, awkwardly this time.
"Thank you!" It's like he was waiting to hear that word as I see his eyes light up. I feel the same pressure on my chest as always, deciding to press my hand onto it lightly, which Jin doesn't seem to pay attention to. "So, Yoongi and Hoseok."
"I think we did a good thing. Yoongi was trying hard to hold back a smile, I could tell." Jins eyes only light up more.
"SEOKJIN!" We turn around as I see Taehyung come towards us. Jin smiles awkwardly. "Namjoon, I knew you'd be able to convince him." Jin eyes me suspiciously as I put my hands up in surrender. "I'm looking for more people to play my game and Jimin told me you two were here, soooo... Want to play?" He asks with a wide box smile showing.
"Uhm, sorry, I'm not ready to do that anytime soon." Jin smiles sadly, making me confused.
"Come on, hyung! Pretty, pretty, please!" The younger one begs as I see Jins discomfort. I place a hand on his shoulder and turn to Taehyung.
"We'll join later. You should play with someone else for now." My tone was stern as I know it to be the only way to make Taehyung listen to me. He apologises quickly as he leaves us alone. I turn back to Jin, seeing his eyes glister like yesterday, making me worried. "You okay?" I look at him as he wipes his eyes and smiles at me.
"We should get drinks." He ignores my question, heading to the kitchen. I follow behind him. There were less people here as I see Jin lift himself onto the counter and take a alcoholic drink, almost drinking it in one go. He goes to take more as I stop him.
"Jin, stop." I stand in front of him as I take the cup from his hand. He looks down, avoiding eye contact.
"It's the only way to ignore it." He whispers, almost inaudible. I furrow my eyebrows, confused to why he suddenly acts like this. "You know, we should join Taehyung with his game. What else did we come here for?" He jumps of the counter, landing close to me as I was standing in front of him. My throat goes dry again as we're only centimetres apart. I swallow loudly as Jin steps back. "Sorry."
I stand there dumbfounded as I look behind me to see Jin leave the kitchen with a drink in his hand. I swear, he's like a dog that can't sit still right now.
I take a non-alcoholic drink with me as I head back into the main room, seeing Jin talk to Taehyung, who has a bright boxy smile on his face. He hands the elder a mic as I lean against the door frame to watch from afar. Singing won't harm him, right? I'll just make sure to jump in when it gets out of hand and they start playing seven minutes in heaven or something.
