"Honeybee." Chris tapped Phoenix's forehead as she laid with her head in his lap. She lowered her phone, where she was replying back to random notifications, and looked up at him.
"Huh?"
"Nothing." He responded before leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead.
"Maybe I should take my phone out too." Mackie crossed him arms.
He and Tom were sitting on a couch directly across from Chris and Phoenix. While Tom was on his phone, Mackie watched him like and respond to Phoenix's tweets. What was supposed to be a group hangout ended up being Tom and Phoenix texting each other for 30 minutes while Chris and Mackie carried on their own conversations.
Mackie had asked Chris and Phoenix to hang out so he could get a better idea of how they fit together as a pair but instead he got Phoenix on her phone for half an hour straight while periodically showing Chris funny tweets.
After his talk with Phoenix the other day on set, Mackie had hoped she really took the time to map out her options. He didn't want to see hers and Chris's relationship end per say but he also didn't want either party wasting time knowing neither would compromise on the subject of marriage and kids.
