"Welcome to Boston, baby!" Chris smiled as Phoenix ran and jumped into his arms. They had been apart for about a week and a half after Julie's wedding and he was happy to finally have her in his arms again.

"How to get your bag stolen at the airport 101." Phoenix joked while looking back at the suitcase she had abandoned as soon as she spotted Chris.

"I got it." Chris chuckled before jogging to her black and white polka dot suitcase and easily dragging it back to the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro that was gifted to him by Robert. Because it was such a timeless and thoughtful present, he didn't drive it too often but Phoenix's arrival warranted a classic ride.

"My Prince Charming."

"My princess. My queen." He opened the passenger door for Phoenix, leaning in to give her a kiss before shutting it. Afterwards, Chris walked around to the trunk, where he placed Phoenix's bag.

"I can't believe you're actually in Boston." He spoke upon entering his car.

"I can't believe how fucking sick your car is!" Phoenix gushed, admiring the Captain America symbol that was emblazoned in the steering wheel. "So dope."

"Yeah, this car is way out of my league. Just like you." Chris replied as he pulled out of the spot his Captain America themed car was parked in. "The goal was to impress you and it seems my plan worked."

"You impress me everyday with your kindhearted nature."

Chris reached over the median with his right hand to intertwine his and Phoenix's fingers. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"What do you want to do today? We've got the entire day to do what ever you want."

"I want to do what ever you want to do." She replied. "I'm in your territory now."

"Hmm... how about you and I take Dodger on a walk and figure out what's next after that?"

"I would love that."

"Perfect." Chris took his eyes off the road to glance over at Phoenix and smiled. Although she'd barely even been in Boston for 10 minutes, he made the bold prediction that she wouldn't hate his home city anymore by the end of her trip. "How's everything going in California?"

"Better. I've been spending a lot of time with my friends from Film Society and it's been nice to talk about movies and just hangout without drama and betrayal." Phoenix answered. Not only didn't she regret ending her friendships with Jordyn and Luka but she also didn't spend any time discussing them with anybody else. She just blocked them and moved on to her other group of friends. Her friends from UCLA were some of the most genuine people she'd met in Los Angeles and she regretted the fact that she pushed them aside for Jordyn and Luka.

"I'm glad to hear that! And is your friend with the torn whatever doing okay?"

"Benoit? He's perfectly fine now and back to surfing." She responded, impressed by the fact that Chris remembered something she told him over a month ago. "You should meet Benoit and the rest of my film friends. They're fantastic and brilliant! You'd actually like them."

"You knew I didn't like your other friends?"

"It was as clear as day."

"They just didn't seem like they valued loyalty." He shrugged. "I can't respect a person who isn't true and dependable."

"I get that."

"If this other group of friends is as great as you say, I would love to meet them."

"After graduation, we made a New York pact." Phoenix smiled at the thought. "Most of those guys are my film crew as well and we promised to get to NYC in a couple years to shoot something big."
