𝐀s soon as Raegan woke up and got herself ready, she immediately went to the dojo to start her daily routine. Greeting some of her friends, she went straight to the bathroom and changed into her karategi. Then she began to exercise, doing some basic warm-ups like; squats and push-ups. Besides it wasn't very hard for her to do since she'd been doing it almost every day in her entire life.

After a couple of push-ups, she went to the back area where the kicking bag was and began practicing some hard kicks to strengthen her legs. She personally loved the kicking part. Filled with frustration, she proceeded to punch the heavy bag and jammed her knee up as the object swayed back and forth. She stepped back with a heavy sigh as she laid her hands on her knees to catch her breath.

An adoring smile immediately appeared on her face when she saw Miguel enter the room with a grin of his own. The Hispanic boy hastily grabbed the focus mitt from the ground and made his way towards her, playfully raising his palms out, and she smirked to herself. She suddenly sent a hard kick on the glove, almost making the boy fall on his ass.

"Take it easy on me," Miguel pouted, but his girlfriend just grinned at him.

Little they did know, a certain girl was watching them from outside the storage room with a distasteful expression on his face. Tory felt bitter. She didn't like what she was seeing. It felt like she was losing a fight that Raegan didn't even know had started.

The next day, Miguel invited her to his apartment to continue their practice and to hang out afterward. She greeted Carmen and Yaya, who were very happy to see her as they showered her with hugs and kisses. Miguel dragged her out of the apartment and went downstairs to begin their little practice in the garage where Johnny's car was parked.

Raegan craned her neck to the side, teasingly smirking at him as she straightened her back. Miguel pursed her lips, feeling quite amused when suddenly, she launched forward with a punch. He dodged it. However, she wasn't done with that and sent another one after but with a forceful kick. But then again, he deflected it.

Miguel suddenly went around a pole, wrapping his hands around it, and Raegan took that as a chance to hit him. But the boy simply circled around the pole again. She heaved out a breath and laughed at his face as he wrapped his arm around the pole like a koala with a cheeky smile etched on his face. He looked adorable like a baby bear.

She didn't say anything, but she suddenly sent a high kick at his face, and Miguel quickly stepped back away from the pole. Raegan grinned, playful eyes into another one. She wasn't done with him. She grabbed onto the pole and hauled herself up, sending a gentle kick over his chest, enough to push him back but not hurt him.

She kicked again, but Miguel rolled over to the side against the wall, and when she sent another one, he easily caught her legs. Raegan scoffed amusedly, and quickly grabbed his neck and made turned him around, then pushed him against the faded orange walls. Her arm pressed against his throat.

He grunted in pain, looking into her green eyes. All his pain faded away when Raegan planted her lips against his, and he delved into it, snaking his hand on her neck and one to her cheek. He felt her smile against his lips, and he swore his heart almost jumped out of his chest. Then they broke away, forehead pressed together and breathing heavily from the lack of air.

     "You're amazing," Miguel murmured.

Raegan smirked. "I know I am."

The next morning, they found themselves back in the dojo again, but this time, Raegan was warming up with a heavy bag. Miguel held her phone, circling around her as he filmed her. He couldn't help but smile proudly as he watched his girlfriend do her thing. He was too lucky to have her, and he would never exchange her for anything in the world no matter what it was.

Meanwhile, Samantha stood around the Miyagi-do dojo, her phone in her hand as she watched a video from her sister's Instagram account. Unmistakably, there was a deep frown on her face. She was watching the exact video that Miguel filmed earlier. She couldn't help but feel jealous all of a sudden.

She wasn't the only one who was feeling those things. Because Tory gripped her phone in her hand as she glared at the screen, almost like it would suddenly burst into fire. She had the urge to chuck her phone against the wall. Truth to be told, she only liked Raegan LaRusso in the beginning. Then she realized, she was nothing but a pathetic little girl who gets everything in her life with one bat of her eyelashes and that pretty face.

Raegan went home after she hung out with Miguel, and she almost choked on her brown coffee when she caught Samantha and Robby making out in the kitchen. She blinked in surprise as the two teenagers changed nervous glances to each other as they noticed. But before they could say anything, she had already run upstairs to her room, locking herself inside.

"Oh, shit," She muttered, placing her coffee on the table and throwing her bag somewhere in the room. "I did not need to see that." Suddenly, she cursed out loud when her phone started blaring out her ringtone. She hastily grabbed it and placed it up beside her ear. "Hello?"

"Hey, Rae!" Moon said brightly from the other line. "I was just going to ask if you wanted to come to my party tomorrow?"

Raegan nodded. But then rolled her eyes when she realized she couldn't see her. She beamed at her. "Of course. I'll be there."

Moon said some nice things afterward before she ended the call. Raegan sighed softly as she stood up, making her way to her closet. She opened it to see a bunch of clothes, mostly consisting of jeans, shirts, sweatshirts hoodies, and more long-sleeved shirts. A small smile crept from her face when noticed Miguel's blue hoodie hanging inside her closet. It still smelled like him.

She grabbed a random outfit in the closet and changed. Besides, it wasn't like she had someone to impress. Miguel doesn't care what she wears as long as no one bothers her, and perhaps, that was one thing she liked about him. He trusted her, and that meant a lot because people rarely do. It wasn't that she wasn't trusting, but they just didn't think she could handle the things they said to her.

But Raegan LaRusso was stronger than she let on. They tend to underestimate her just because she'sut they just haven't seen the side of her that would do anything━I mean, anything, for her loved ones. And trust me, people like her who hide those kinds of things are usually the ones who are not afraid to sacrifice themselves.
