"I would tell you if I could." Christian said.

"You can." I folded my arms.

He sighed and I Said "It benefits both of us you know. If you help us to end all this, you'll be allowed to... Be free."

"It's just not the simple. He's f*cking nuts but he's smart. He'll put two and two together if I start helping."

"You know it's the right thing to do."

"It might be."

"Urgh! Christian...."

"I can't and I won't." He walked closer and furrowed his brow.

"Are you serious?" I furrowed mine.

"Very serious."

I glared and he glared back.

"I told you you're hot when you're mad." He said before kissing me, suddenly making me relax.

"Okay, Princess. I'll tell you. But don't think it's because you have an influence over me."

I rolled my eyes and said "So what was it?" I raised a brow as he walked over to the window to have a cigarette.

"Just a... Change of heart I suppose."

"Hm. You? A change of heart?"

He smirked and rolled his eyes.

"And because you're too sweet for this sh*t." He said as he lit the cigarette.

I could feel my cheeks become Red with flattery.

"Okay. Here it goes."

"That night, Danny was there. With John. Did we see the actual accident? No. But the aftermath too. Danny was pissed off. As per usual but even more so. He got really mad at Tonie. I had to literally pry him off Tonie. He threatened Vanessa so everyone kept to the alibi. Joey was there. I'm certain of it. Everyone was there for god sake. Within minutes, people surrounded the place. Infamous gangster Michael Sambello dead? It was headlined for weeks. That's what I saw. That's what I know."

I walked over and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you."

Drew

"This place looks like it's been empty for years..." I said as we walked around.

"It probably has been. After my grandmother died, some distance relatives kept it on."

"And they keep a security system on?" I turned and raised a brow.

She smiled and placed her hands on my shoulders. "Honey, this House is worth easily a million? Its an estate. Anybody could just come in and set up."

"So there's just a million dollars sitting here?" I looked over my shoulder to her as she walked past.

"It's not that simple. There's some documentation, things like that that we just don't have." She shrugged.

I nodded and we continued our little walk.

Upstairs, we walked down the landing when... "Attic." I smirked as I looked up.

"All my mom's stuff from when she was younger is probably up there." Emma said, seeing the hatch on the ceiling.

"Let's get going then!" I said.

"Hang on, what!?" Em spun round to me.

I pointed to the hatch and she sighed.

"If I die up there..."
