Drew
"May I take this Dance?" I asked emma as I rose.
"Of course..." she took my hand.
"Do you know what I was thinking about?" I asked.
"Go on..." she smiled
"Well... one, how beautiful you are. two... how much I can't wait to see you dance with our own child..."
She beamed and said "Oh Drew..." she kissed me gently as I held the small of her back..
"You're going to be the perfect father..." she said quietly as we still swayed gently to the music.
"I'm a bit more confident of that now..." I looked down to Annette and Oliver dancing just as Em and I are...
Flynn
"Good news, so far. Nobody that we should be aware of his here." Oceane said as she took a sip from her champagne flute as we surveyed the room, arm in arm.
"Nope. but i'm not seeing our most gracious host either..."
"I suppose he just likes to make an entrance?"
"Well that I am most definitely guessing."
"How are Emma and Drew holding up?" I continued to say.
"Well, they have both been approached by little dancers." she smiled.
"They have?"I laughed.
"Drew was watching Emma dancing with a boy and he had dreamy eyes... then a little girl wanted to dance with him."
"Now that I would of paid good money to see." I laughed again.
"It was adorable..." she smiled as Drew and Emma walked to us.
"Flynn... Oceane... We have something we want to tell you." Emma said.
"Yep, now's probably the best place to tell you anyway." Drew shrugged and Emma rolled her eyes.
"Well... We've been... On and off that is... trying for a baby..." Emma smiled.
"You have!?" Oceane beamed.
"Yeah... but don't worry, to no avail yet." Emma glanced my way.
Some relief I suppose.
"But tonight... we just... realised how much we want this after dancing with the children. we would rather let you know now than to just spring it on you if it happens..." Drew said.
"Flynny?" Emma raised a brow.
"I..."
"Hello hello! Welcome all!" we turned out attention to a woman on the star case who beamed down upon the crowd who's conversation turned into nothing but silence.
"Thank you all so much for attending tonight. It thrills me to be hosting such a gracious event along with my husband... Louis Moreno!" The crowd started to clap and we decided to join in.
Emma
An elderly well-dressed man appeared at the staircase with his wife. He resembled definitely a much older Lou sambello.
He kissed the cheek of his wife gently and smiled. "Hello and thank you, my dear, for the introduction."
"As you know, today marks the anniversary of our wedding anniversary. But, of course all colleagues of the company are just like family. This is a celebration before I leave for business tomorrow."
