Drew
He sat with his brow furrowed.
Then the door opened, Thank God.
I rolled my eyes before turning my attention to Emma with a smile. "Everything alright?" I asked.
"Yeah." She smiled.
"Flynny?" Oceane called from the doorway.
What is this? Private interventions.
Emma smiled as Oceane's door closed behind her and I looked down to her.
"What are you so happy about?" I smiled."You..." She hugged me.
"I don't know what Oceane told you in there but if Flynn comes out and hugs me..." I kissed the top of her head.
She giggled and I held her close.
"What do you think they're talking about?" She asked.
"Who knows? First, it was going to be about Danny and john. Now it'd private interventions." I scoffed.
"Yeah, I know. I should be working." She yawned.
"You're tired, honey. I know you need to do this, but you'll be better well-rested."
She nodded and kissed me gently as I Held her...
Oceane
"So, what's up?" Flynn asked as we lay face to face.
I held his hand and asked him "when did you realise you liked me?"
"Um... I was about 14 I guess?"
I nodded.
"When did you tell me?"
"When you were 13..."
"And when did we get together?"
"9 years later?"
"Yep. Now, how old was Emma when you got out of juvie?"
"About 15?"
"And drew?"
"17?"
"And we agreed that they've liked each other since then?"
He nodded.
"That took them 7, nearly 8 years, Flynn." I stated.
His eyes widened. "We had the advantage because we knew each other, but... They found each other." I tilted my head.
"I see..."
"Drew didn't do it out of spite. He loves your sister. And has for 7 years. There is nothing different from their relationship than to ours."
He nodded.
"Emma's happy and so is he. She has been nothing but supportive of us." I held his hand tighter.
"And I need to do the same for them..."
I nodded.
"Because we're not going to get through this divided. We have to do it together. We started it together, were going to finish it, together."
Flynn
And at that moment, I realised. It was like... An awakening.
"I think you know what you have to do Flynny. Then things can go back to normal." She raised a brow.
"Okay."
