Oceane
I placed my hair over my shoulders as I adjusted my self in the mirror of the restroom.
Tonight's been definely an interesting night.
I reapplied some mascara and finished up as a woman said "I love your costume! Dark angel right?"
I turned to the masked lady "Thank you! Yes I am. Let me guess, a lady of the Renaissance?" She wore an exquisite french ball room style dress and a beautiful mask to her face.
"Of course." She curtseyed.
"Have a good night." She smiled.
"You too." I smiled.
Flynn
"She's here? Right now? Where?" I said to Lillian.
"Oh I don't know. There are a lot of people here and I don't have time to keep an eye on all of them." She shrugged.
"Do you know what she's dressed as?" I raised a brow.
"A lady of the Renaissance."
I looked around and trust me, you would think it would narrow it down but appears to be a popular outfit this year.
I left Lillian as I saw oceane leave the restroom and went over to her.
"Charlotte, she's here." I said.
"She is!?"
"She's wearing a French renaissance outfit."
Her eyes widened and darted across the room.
"It's her." She nodded.
And she was right because Charlotte started to head for the exit.
"Where's Emma and Drew!?" I said as I looked around.
"No time! Time to call Eric!"
We darted through the crowd the best we could as I called Eric and Oceane tried Emma and drew.
"Woman in the fancy dress and mask running down the steps now!" I said to Eric.
"Okay, I can see her!"
As we followed down the steps, Eric's car came and blocked the path.
"Charlotte?" I said slightly out of breath.
Emma
Drew's phone starred to buzzed in his jacket that I was wearing once again as he kissed me outside against the back wall in an alcove.
"Probably Flynn or Oceane..." He sighed as he pulled away, searching for it in the pockets.
"Hey, what's up?" He said as I stroked his hair back
"Where are you?" I heard Pceane say.
"Um....outside?"
"Look I don't want to know. A lots gone down, meet us in the car park."
"Yeah sure."
I sighed and said "but we were having so much fun..."
"I know.... But duty calls..." He put his phone back and I stood up straight, straightening myself out.
"Come on then." I smiled gently as I took his hand and he kissed my forehead.
"So you're Charlotte?"Drew turned his attention to the woman in the mask that the others had told us about.
