That night, Lola was standing in Fox Forest with Jughead Jones, waiting for a certain blonde-haired girl to arrive. After their talk earlier, Lola bad convinced her best friend to tell Betty about what he had found; even if she did have a lot on her plate, the two always worked best when they were together.

As they waited, Lola shifted awkwardly on her feet. Something about the forest was putting her on edge; she couldn't help but feel like something was going to go wrong. Maybe it was because if the eerie silence or maybe it was because of what Jughead had found the other day but, whatever it was, Lola just wanted to get the hell out of there.

"Maybe I shouldn't have told Betty. She had a seizure and I throw this at her" Jughead mumbled. He was mostly talking to himself but Lola heard him nonetheless. "Stop worrying. It's gonna be fine" Lola reassured but she was silently wishing that Betty would hurry up so they could find Ethel and leave.

Luckily for the both of them, a familiar head of blonde hair cane rushing through the trees not long after that. Jughead let out a sigh of relief as he pulled her in for a quick hug while Lola shot him a look as if to say "I told to you so."

"So what happened, exactly?" Jughead asked, referring to the girls seizure. Lola glared at him slightly; Betty had just gotten there and he hadn't even said hello before interrogating her. Betty, however, didn't seem to mind.

"One minute I was fine, the next I was hallucinating some truly insane stuff like out of a horror movie" she explained as they began to walk. Lola shivered slightly at the mention of a horror movie; she couldn't help but feel like she was in the scene where the group of friends gets picked off and murdered one by one. She kept these thought to herself, of course.

"And then I wake up in the emergency room, embarrassed to be honest, and that's why I didn't say anything because it's nothing. Dr. Patel said it was just stress" Betty continued, not noticing Lola's reaction. Lola smiled sympathetically at the girl.
