Project day

"How do I look", I asked

Mia kept staring at me without blinking for even once. After a few minutes, a huge smile came on her face,

"Ava, you look...just like me", she said

"Of course, we are identical twins after all", I said

"Just go out and call Daphany and see if she recognizes you", she said

I walked out of the room and called out Aunt Daphany

"I'm coming, I'm coming...why are you...", she stopped talking when she saw me. "Mia, you're able to walk now, that's great. Karen, Derek, look Mia's walking again", she said excitedly

"Aunty, I'm Ava, not Mia", I explained

Mom and dad were already downstairs. They rushed calling my name,

"Ava, look your sister's ok now", mom said

"Mom, I'm here...Mia's still on the bed inside, go and see", I told

All the three of them walked inside and looked at Mia and again turned their eyes in shock at me again. I smiled and so did Mia

"What...is going on?", everyone said together

Mia explained the plan for tomorrow to everyone and they thought there was no harm in pretending to be my sister for just a day. Everyone left the room and mom switched off the lights. I made my way beside Mia and laid down beside her. I was wondering, wasn't there any difference between the two of us. Did we exactly look the same??

Wondering about this, I fell asleep. I was a little nervous to pose Mia, but thought, it'll be fine and slept peacefully.

The next morning I woke up early to get dressed like Mia. I continued to stay near her as she was helping me to look like her. She was a little nervous about her project. After I dressed in the same red dress as last night. The dress was till my knee so I felt a little uneasy.

"Mia, should I wear black tights under this, I don't feel too comfortable", I said stretching my dress from the right side

"Yeah fine, but Ava, hurry I need to give the details of the project to you. I'll call Kim and tell you're coming instead of me, so don't worry too much", saying this she called Kim and explained everything to her. Saying this she gave the files of her project.

It was 9 already, finally time to go, finally for the first and hopefully the last time I'll be posing as Mia. I nervously unlocked my car and drove towards her university. I tried not to make it obvious I wasn't Mia. I looked for Kim everywhere, and finally, a figure appeared in front of me

"Hi, you're Ava right?", she asked

"Yeah, you must be Kim, hi", I greeted her

"Wow I knew Mia had a twin, but I'm not able to say the difference between you two"

"Yeah I know, Kim I'm really nervous, how long is it gonna take before submitting the project?", I asked rubbing my hands nervously

"Don't worry, when our turn comes, I'll tell the professor that you have a bad throat so that you don't have to speak", she said

"Wait I had to speak??", I asked

"Of course", she said

After discussing this, I walked with Kim to their classroom. Really, if you see my college and after that, you come here, you're gonna doubt if this really is a university. It looked so small, the classrooms looked so dark. I got scared for a second

"Is this really your university?", I asked questioning Kim in surprise

"Yup, it's not very clean I know, but that's because we do most of our work outside. We rarely stay in classes", she said
