Your POV

It's my first full day in Clarines today! Shirayuki, Zen, Mitsuhide, Kiki and I all got back late quite last night, so I didn't really get to see the city, but today I plan on walking around for a little bit and finding myself a new cloak. If Prince Raji tells Prince Dominic about me, he'll surely mention I'm wearing a huge black cloak. I have to find different clothes.
Ugh, that lucky Prince, now I kinda wish we went through with our mission.. It would have saved everyone's lives, but I know this was the best choice for everyone...
I would go out without this cloak to buy something new, but I feel like it's more of a risk not to wear it even if someone already knows what it looks like! Ugh...
I haven't built up the courage to show people myself again anyway, in fear that they might know who I am. I don't want anyone accidentally finding out who I am, but on the other hand, I have to find a new cover up because now the Prince knows I wear all black.. Today, I might actually have to not wear the cloak. I have to suck up my fears for a little while until I find a new one. Maybe something more stylish this time, black doesn't feel right because it makes people nervous. I didn't bring another cloak or cover with me, so I just went out in my normal clothes. No one would recognize me, at least not the people I met yesterday.
Today I'll be wearing my favorite blue gown that I wore yesterday just so I could show it off one last time. I brought along my parents' swords with me just in case, but they're on the outside of my dress so everyone can see it. I hope it doesn't scare the people too much. I also hope no one recognizes them... My family is popular for our swords and swordsmanship skills so we're pretty well known unfortunately.
I made my way downstairs bright and early to see the town. When I got down the stairs, I made sure not to let anyone see me that hadn't seen my face before. I carried a leather purse that was small but had a long strap I could cross over my chest. It held all the money my family earned over the years, which wasn't very much... As soon as I walked out the door, I was greeted with the bright morning sun. This kingdom was truly a sight to behold.
"Whoa.." I mouthed. I still couldn't talk, which was a problem if I was going to be out and about today, but I made sure to bring some paper and a pen in case I needed it. Venders were already out and people were roaming around looking for things to check off their shopping lists. I walked down the narrow road in absolute amazement. Everyone around me looked very happy! The people were smiling, the buildings looked new, or at the very least well kept, and the sky seemed in bliss. Everything about Clarines is perfect. It's more than what Alfin could ever hope for! Not to mention the rulers of this kingdom! At least one of them is kind hearted as far as I know, unlike...
This is where I want to stay forever.
To my left were tons of venders selling clothing. They all looked very pricey, but to my surprise, everything was almost dirty cheap!
Perfect! Maybe I'll find something there!
I moved to one of the smaller stands which sold only women's clothing. Over on a rack in the back hung a cloak with a thinner fabric, which won't make me feel so hot in when I'm wearing it.
