"Iceblaze, come here!" Wolffur called, waving his paw in the air for his son to see him. The tom had a grim look on his face, making Iceblaze worried as he padded over to his father.

"What's wrong, Wolffur?" Asked the younger warriors, searching Wolffur's gaze for answers.

"It's Shrewwhisper, he's had a seizure." Wolffur meowed, eyes gleaming with sorrow as he spoke. "Wildthorn doesn't think he'll make it through the day."

Iceblaze winced at the grief in the senior warrior's tone and pressed against his father reassuringly, eyes focusing on the medicine den for the medicine cat to appear. When Wildthorn did emerge, his expression was sad.

"He didn't make it, Wolffur." He murmured and shook his head. Wolffur's eyes widened and his mouth opened, a single tear sliding down his cheek that he quickly wiped away so no one could see it.

Iceblaze looked over at his father seeing his eyes dark with grief and sadness as he lowered his gaze and ears. 'Losing a sibling must feel awful,' thought Iceblaze at the sight of his father hunched over. 'I can't imagine losing Softstream.'
