Chapter 3 • What is this •

Ford looked at Pacifica with a worried look. She handed him the camera and put the second to last video saved on the drive.
There was static and than it started playing.
The point of view seemed to be at a party, there were demons everywhere.
Than the camera started moving and Ford started wondering on why Dipper hadn't talked or shown his face. Or for a matter of fact Ford thought what Dipper was doing there with the other nightmares in the first place.
Than the cameras view pointed to a what seems to be a little lifted floor piece making a stage. Than was stunned when he saw Bills human form walking up the stage holding Dipper.
Ford once again, looked at Pacifica.
She just looked stared at the screen, cutting him from his thoughts was his enemies voice.

" Hello nightmares!"
Dipper hitting his side with his elbow,
"Agh- right....hello dear friends..."
Ford looked closely at Dipper and looked at the date, this was two months ago.
Fords attention going back to Cipher's voice.
" Well as all of you know, Pinetree here~ has been with us for five years,"
All the monsters stayed silent,
"He has been taught by the best, we all have gotten good memories with him,"
Bill put an arm around Dipper, Dipper seeming confused as to why the demon was saying such things.
"And I know, if he wasn't next to me right now, well.....I would have gotten bored~"
Ford was shocked, what did he mean by that?
All he heard was the whistling and snickering of the other demons and saw a blushing Dipper.
"So."
Ford looked closely at the camera,
Bill turned Dipper around,
"Bill wha-"
"Let me do this,"
Dipper stayed quiet.
Ford was horrified when the demons went quite as Bill got on one knee. He looked at Pacifica who seemed, fine?!?
How can she seem fine with this?!?
"Dipper," Bills voice was quiet but audible.
Dipper seemed confused and turned around in curiosity,
"Will you be mine?"
There the video froze, it froze on an image he would never have wanted to see in his life.
A demon, his enemy!!
On one knee, proposing to his grandnephew.
And than the video started once more.
But the demons were now cheering and awing at the sight, even Pacifica as she saw the image in front of her.
There, in that stage, was Bill on one knee laughing as Dipper is hugging him, seeming as if that was the last time he'll see him.
It was- it was- Ford couldn't fathom the words, looking at Pacifica smiling at the image.
"HOW ARE YOU OK WITH THIS!?!"
Pacifica was knocked back into reality, looking Ford in the eyes,
"I saw all the videos, everything, if he was scared, if he was mad, if he felt like crying he would put it down in that camera,"
Ford seemed close to exploding,
"So?" The simple word layered in venom.
Pacifica had to stay calm, she had seen the videos, all of them.
3 years worth of them.
He saw Dipper cry over the memories of his loved ones, he saw Dipper get mad at Bill and cuss!! He has seen Dipper flirt with Bill on camera.
She'd seen it all, and what she saw was two people actually loving each other, she knew it was Dipper. The way he talked, the way he acted. It was Dipper and the way Dipper looked at Bill when they were both on the video. It was love, she saw love.
And she believed it, she trusted Dipper.
"They love each other, and I don't know how that love blossomed, but it did, and I trust Dipper enough to know the choice he made was his. No one else's." Pacifica just stood there looking at Ford. He felt like slapping the child for such nonsense. But was mature enough to just say words more hurtful than a slap.
"Than leave, I don't want someone here who can sabotage everything just for "love"."
Pacifica was shocked, but both were surprised when they heard the small sniffle behind them.
" Grunkle Ford?..."
Ford and Pacifica looked up to see Mabel, Ford just looked at Pacifica,
"Leave."
And Pacifica did as she was told, she ran. Mabel yelling for her to stop.
Pacifica knew what had Bill done, but the videos showed someone different, Bill looked and acted different!
But who would believe her...
She was just a rich blonde with the perfect life.
Who would believe her, they would just say that she wanted attention like they have the past 5 years.
She just kept running, except she ran towards something.
