"Ms. Pines? Two men just arrived with your brother."
Mabel perked up, Pacifica was sleeping in one of the chairs in the room.
Mabel stood up when she saw the door open, "Dipper! Bill!" Mabel Hughes both, a nurse coming in checking over Dipper.
The nurse seeing many, many scratches and many bruises on Dipper, cleaned them up as best she could, doing the same for Bill.
When left in the quiet room, Mabel spoke, "The doctors said they'll have the cops here in any minute, saying that when our parents went to the Asylum (cause I'm a bad ass) and they went to look for us, we were gone, they thought we were missing or dead. Turns out five years of hell for us was five years or normality for them...."
quiet.
"I'm sorry."
Really this wasn't the intended result. Mabel thought that maybe telling them, catch them up on things, would help make a good, better plan.
Not make a dream demon since birth cry and apologize.
"Bill? Hey, I-" Mabel paused, ya, he started all of this... but he also wasn't in the right mind.
She remembered what Samm said, "But something just...snapped?"
Was this how Bill acted before he supposedly "snapped".
When Mabel was back to conscious, there she saw, Dipper holding Bill, Bill was shaking, his eyes shut tight, his hands in his hair.
Dipper whispering things into his ear, words she couldn't hear, but knew were helping and calming.
And for some reason, she couldn't help but smile, not for any sadistic reason, but because if how Samm described Bill before, and if her small slowly collected theory is right.
Than maybe Bill does need Dipper as much as he needs him. And the thought of someone making Dipper smile, that made her smile.
When Pacifica woke up, she seemed, relieved? Who knows.
"Ah, so this was what blondy was talking about..."
ah.
That's why...
Mabel gave a small smile, "hello, Killian."
"Stardust! How are you? I do believe our good friend has caught me up to where we are at the moment." It was when he noticed Bill quivering that he stopped.
He looked surprised.
"Are-are you ok?" The question was small, he took in the surroundings more.
Samm wasn't there.
Neither was Zane...
He looked down, as if realizing something, something Mabel didn't know of, and for some reason felt the need to know of.
All their thoughts interrupted when the door opened, coming in was not two cops. But a man and a woman, wearing cozy but stern clothing.
"Hello?"
The woman spoke, "Hello, I'm Agent Nana Valdez with the FBI analysis unit."
Nobody looked stunned except the twins.
FBI?
Holy Mother of Hell what have they gotten into?
Sweet dreams my little demons, crawlers, and creatures of the night! Hope you enjoyed this quick chapter. And you know I want to trough in some logic. Like...when their parents went to pick them up they were under aged... so makes since why they were in the missing reports. And I'm going to add more of that, at least I hope I will! More of what happened during those five years, outside Gravity Falls? How those he don't believe in the supernatural see it. How common folk saw it.
