only one thing made will happy to wake up in the morning now and that's mike. for the first time in a while will was excited to go to school.

– "your up early!" joyce says as she's pouring her coffee in her cup.
– "yep!"

– "you ready go?" joyce asks will as he's grabbing his backpack
– "yeah! I'll be in the car"
will walks out his house and sees the love of his life on his bike waiting for will.
– "hope on!" mike pats his seat.
– "mikey! hi!"

will and mike ride to school.

mike puts his bike on the rack and they notice a girl with papers in her hand, standing in the entry of the school. they walk into the school and are handed a pink paper that says

"ugh!" will rolls his eyes at what he sees.
– "we totally have to go to this!" mike says in excitement
– "why? it's just another stupid party"
– "what? have you never gone to a party..?"
– "yeah because there dumb"
– "really!"
– "well what do you expect? im will byers"
– "so? will byers can do anything!"

– "anyways! wanna go to the party with me?!"

troy punches mike and he falls out the ground.

troy kicks will in the stomach making him fall onto mike. and with that troy is hitting and kicking and slapping mike and will and james joins in.
– "t-troy s-s-stop i-it" will is coughing up blood
troy and james are stopped by the one the only..

steve harrington.

– "HEY! HEY! ASSHOLES! LEAVE THEM TWO ALONE!"
troy and james stop and they run off.
– "yeah that's right! run you little cowards!"
steve looks down at the poor little boys and rushes to help them up.
– "woah! woah! you boys alright?!"
– "i-it h-hurts" mike falls apart as he hears will say that.
– "aww baby, come here! are you okay?!"
– "n-not really.."
– "hey steve! uhm thanks so much for helping us, i can take it from here"
– "okay! you boys be careful"
steve walks off to get to his first class.
meanwhile, the halls are empty and mike and will are trying to get up.
*cough *cough
– "ugh.." mike struggles to get up. mike reaches his hand out to will.
– "j-just leave me here"
– "what?"
– "no one cares about me!"
– "i do! your family and friends do! we all love you will!" mike gets down on his knees.
– "will, what is going on?"
– "troy and james are ganna do this everytime they see us together, i wanna be with you so much! but i don't want to deal with this!"
– "we can fix it!"
– "how!"
– "telling the principal?!"
– "yeah like he will care!"
– "it's worth a shot!"
– "okay" will rolls his eyes
– "see you later" will walks off in a bad mood
– "hey will! are you okay?"
– "YES MIKE! STOP ASKING ME PLEASE!"
– "will?"
– "mike, I gotta get to my class goodbye.."
mike was caught off guard and confused but headed off to his first class as well.

(skipped to lunch, mike and will didn't have classes with each other but they had some after lunch)

– "UGH!" mikes things weren't fitting in his locker but eventually did. mike and will always met up by his locker everyday to walk to lunch together but will didn't show up.
– "damn that was so hard!" mike walks off heading to the lunch room. mike is waiting in line and 5 people in front of him.. was will. mike didn't know if he should cut the line and talk to will. he stays put and doesn't cut the line, mostly because his classmates are ganna start something.
– "oh hey mike! are you going to the party?"
a classmate named noah, decided to start a conversation in the line. will turns his body from hearing mikes name.
– "have you even talked to me before?" mike nervous laughs
– "nah, im just bored and curious"
– "oh well i was going to but i don't think i will.." mike sounds sad, with will still listening.
– "why?"
– "i don't think my friends going" he's talking about will. the whole school still doesn't know about will and mike.
– "oh well, that sucks.."
– "yeah.."
mike turns back to see will looking at him. will turns back fast.

mike gets his tray of food and heads to his table with his friends. he sits down and notices will isn't sitting there. he looks in between lucas and dustin and sees will eating alone. of course mike has to go and sit with him to see if he's okay.
– "excuse me guys.." mike gets up to sit with will. as will sees he puts his head down.
– "hey uhm.. will? mind if i sit here?"
– "no.. you can sit h-here.."
– "so uhm.. do you hate me or are you mad at me.."
– "n-no.."
– "then why did you yell at me.."
– "because i was sad mike!"
– "for what?"
– "I've already told you.."
– "told you what?"
– "that i don't what you hurt and i love you too much to see you getting beat up everytime troy and james see us"
– "will, we both agreed we wouldn't care"
– "i lied to you"
– "why?!"
– "because i didn't want to disappoint you.."
– "will you will never disappoint me! i love you!"
– "i love you too.. and im sorry for yelling at you, im just confused at the moment"
– "it's all good will, i understand"
– "thank yo-"
mike kisses will but will pulls back fast.
– "woah! mike! why did you do that! people are around us"
– "I thought you didn't care?"
– "i dont i just don't want people to see.."
– "are you embarrassed of me?"
– "no mike! im not! i just-"
– "will i get it okay.."
– "thanks.. so are you still going to the party?"
– "who said im not going?"
– "you told noah.."
– "uh! you heard me?!"
– "well of course i did, your loud!"
– "i am?"
– "yes!"
both of them laugh.
– "i can't wait to dance with you at the party!"
– "your going?"
– "well duh! im excited!" will says as he takes a bite of his sandwich.
– "what made you change your mind?"
– "i only care if your with me.."
– "YAY I CANT WAIT!" mike raises his hands in excitement
– "you know what.. lets do a real one this time"
– "a real what?"
– "kiss"

– "wow! what's gotten into you!?"
