Killer was mentally beating himself up for saying that. Really? That was the dumbest thing he could've said. That mystery person (reference) looked shocked for a bit, almost immediately recognizing him."Oh-uh, yeah! It's me," he paused, staring at Killer before composing himself, bringing out his hand, which Killer took. "My name is Dream, by the way, and yours?"
"Uhh...it's, um...it's Killer." He forgot his name. Sh*t. If Ink was here he'd be laughing his *ss off, seeing as how flustered Killer was. He barely paid attention to the obvious and very positive aura that surrounded Dream.
Killer took a moment to look more closely at Dream. He wore a golden crown thingy on his head, matching his yellow pupils. He was shorter than Killer, and was wearing a light grey hoodie that seemed a bit too big. As well as some casual pants and some dark grey sneakers. Dream was obviously adorable, but Killer didn't know him well; so he wasn't gonna judge him too hard.
They stood there in silence for about a minute before Dream realized they were still holding hands. He let go, a little blush crept up on his face; while Killer only now realized they've been holding hands. Silence came between them, as they avoided each other's gaze. Killer only cleared his throat, before glancing at Dream.
"So, what brings you here?" Dream perked up, looking back at Killer.
"Uh, my friends and I were planning on going here, so I went to check the place out." He remembered Ink talking about how he and his friends were going there, could it be possible they...
"Does one of your friends go by the name Ink?" Dream looked surprised, confusion on his face before he nods. He gave Killer a suspicious look.
"And how did you know?" Killer only smiled.
"Eh, he's my roommate." He explained, Dream was about to say something when-
"Next!" The cashier yelled, as the person in front of Dream had finished their order; finally. Dream walked up as Killer followed behind, since they were having a conversation. The person taking his order was irritated, basically you're average teen who just wanted to be done with their job. It didn't help Dream's case of taking forever to pick something from the menu, which also wasn't good for his growing unease. Dream was already trying to find something before, but Killer had appeared, which was a much better distraction.
He stayed there for a while, his eye sockets scanning the menu. The teen groaned and was about to say something, but was hushed up by Killer, who had narrowed his eye sockets at her. She just rolled her eyes and looked away, not wanting to bother Dream anymore. Killer also hadn't picked anything, well, that was before he saw the vanilla milkshake. After waiting for what seemed like seconds to Dream, which was minutes to everyone else, he ordered chocolate milk, since it was simple and he didn't want to bother anyone. Too late for that.
"Finally!" The person behind them grumbled, Dream didn't mind; it happened all the time. They both had ordered, separately, and sat at a table together, trying to think of conversation topics.
"So, if you're Ink's roommate, did he actually wake up really late? Or was that just him texting stupid?" Killer shrugged.
"Probably woke up late, like always. I dunno, you know I wasn't there, right?" He asked, remembering Dream; who had waved at him earlier.
"Oh yeah, whoops. Say, uh, what do you really do?"
"Hm?"
"You're always walking past at a specific time, what do you do, where do you go?" Dream muttered something under his breath that Killer didn't hear; but he didn't mind. What did he do? Killer had a job, not necessarily a good one; he didn't really like it.
