33. Magnets

You were going North
And
I was going South
How did we ever meet each other?
I don't know how.

We had different opinions,
Different journeys ahead of us,
But still, how did we end up like magnets?

We had hopes and dreams,
We were trapped in this uneasy feeling of guilt,
No, we didn't kill,
But we,
We almost ruined a life that shouldn't,
We were different poles,
In different parts of the world,
So why are we coming together like magnets?

We are circulating around each and every corner,
This ain't a love story,
It's a broken game,
Where two different minds can never work together as one.

We are magnets of different qualities,
I was a marble,
And you were a horseshoe,
We'd didn't  find out the truth,
But at least,
We can wonder,
Why did we end up like magnets?

If we really are like magnets,
Going round and round in circles till we come to a halt,
What would happen to us when we change our poles and go against our own direction,
If we are magnets?

We're slipping down the hill,
We're slipping up our deal,
So, how could you tell me that we're not magnets falling down?

Attraction:
There's an East to your West waiting,
They'll make you feel good,
Prove your worth saving.

Repulsion:
I'm North and you're South,
We're not meeting anytime soon,
The globe is spinning,
But I'm not,
Stay away...

Are we magnets?
Are we?
Are we finding our souls soon?
