58. Burning Eyes

It was outdoor cooking...
Everyone was doing fine,
I got some hot powder in my eyes,
I don't know how or why...

Pre
We were out cooking near the grass,
40 different people, how'd it last?

Took some toothpaste to make sure the 'silver pan' wouldn't have burn marks after. We took a lighting stick and set the white fuel on fire.

My group was in the middle of them all,
We were cooking pasta with capsicum/bell pepper and tuna with chilli.

Somehow, I was told to do nothing and spoil all the food.
Later, I was told to mix it and then, the next moment, stop.
I was munching on the canned tuna and the onion on the side dish.

Later, the food was made,
We all tasted it, I mean only 2 of them did; we were a group of 4.
After that, for no reason,
My eyes started burning and I couldn't open my eyes without hurting the skin-lines that open if I did.

Whoever cared, no one did...

Post
I was walking helplessly and hopelessly as they do with dramatic syndrome,
I finally got help after the request,
He helped me call the teacher,
Washed my eyes that felt like a evil stare,
Visions weren't vandalised,
Clarity in my sense,
Still hoped I wasn't the fool.

The water acted as tears,
Of course, I had to cry,
More water was needed to free me from the pain,
Lest, it acted on me as something divine,
I could see again,
And the pasta was what I couldn't taste,
They are every ounce,
I was on wash duty,
Helping every other group to feel like I was actually necessary in this class.

I'm writing this after days,
The realisation was that eyes can burn,
An itch is a scare,
Water is pure as it should be,
Hopefully, it wipes off the burning sensation,
Letting you see again.
