Chapter 8- "watching us"

Y/N's POV
I turned back to make sure Tzuyu wasn't watching me as I answered the call. "Hello?" I asked, still glancing over my shoulder to make sure no one was near. "Is it built?" my boss's assistant replied, in an annoyed tone. "I said she was fast, but what did you expect!?!" I spat back. "wElL wHaT dId yOu eXpEcT!?!" He mimicked me.

"plus, I'm not planning on giving you the robot right away. We have to do some tests, on it." I told him. But the truth was that I didn't want Tzuyu to leave so quickly... so she'll have to stay for "testing". "fine, but get me that robot as soon as possible. And don't back out cause I have all of that girl's information, and I can track her down. And remember, don't get too close with her, cause I'm watching you." he stated in a creepy tone.

"When have I ever backed out. Plus I need money for my Mom's surgery and you know I do." I replied, hanging up on him. I walked back into the restaurant and sat in my seat, which was in front of Tzuyu, and she looked at me with curious look on her face.

"We need to get out of here," I stated, grabbing her wrist. "Why? We literally haven't eaten yet." she replied confused. "We can eat at home." I assured her as I looked around trying to spot my boss's assistant. "um.. okay?" Tzuyu said, as she stood up and followed me to the door. I let her out first and glanced back at the restaurant, sure enough there he was, staring right at me.

"Don't try to protect her cause it won't work. The only way you can protect her is by finishing your part of the deal." He mouthed, from halfway across the room.

I rolled my eyes, and walked out. "Are you okay?" Tzuyu asked. "Yeah, it's just I didn't want to eat there anymore. Let's just go home and order some pizza." I replied.

"Okay, by the way, Y/N. I actually am missing a piece I need to start on the robot's mechanism, but I have to order it online." She sighed. "How long will it take?" I asked. "They have it at the warehouse so it should take like about a day or so. So it'll get here tomorrow." She explained.

I nodded. "Hey, Y/N?" Tzuyu asked. "What?" I asked, softly. "You know those like sleepover people have..." she started. "Yes." I replied. "Can we like have one of those. It's just I never really got to have one, since I didn't really have friends as a kid.. and now that you're gonna be my roommate, I thought we could maybe, hang out and watch movies?" Tzuyu asked, shyly.

I laughed. "Yeah. That'd be fun."

What will happen at this sleepover? Will Tzuyu find out about what Y/N is truly planing on doing with the robot?
