File 23: Chaos

"What's with the holes in the van?" asked Minny, curious about what happened, "Come to think of it, this isn't the RV we rented."

"We had some problems.." replied Wraith.

"Hey, Lettuce," asked Inferno, "Do you think we can stop somewhere? I really need to piss."

"The next stop is too far away," replied Lettuce, driving the van, "I doubt you can hold it."

"Just stop by this highway. I'll do my business near a bush!"

The van stopped by the forest, waiting for Inferno. Lettuce checked his watch and began explaining what will happen and what they should do to assassinate Faizione Gang #13.

"Just like how the Sicario Gang targeted us because of Minny's Capo position," he explained, "There's no doubt that Faizione will he defending themselves from any incoming attacks as well. We have to be careful and make sure we won't be the targets ourselves."

Suddenly, red wolves appeared within the van, trying to maul the gang.

As the gang jumped out of the van, Lettuce noted, "Hey! Isn't this Dante's demon wolves?"

The last to leave the van was Dante, whose eyes were out of color. Something was wrong.

"Dante!" yelled Minny, "What's wrong?"

Soon, Minny was shot by bullets from Exodus' revolver. She was quickly healed by Persona, but was greatly confused. Even Lettuce was telekinetically moving Wraith, smacking him to a tree. Right when that happened, Wraith immediately phased into his dimension.

What was happening?

"Ah.." said Inferno, "I've been holding that one for a while now!"

As he zipped up his pants, he noticed that he was being held gunpoint by a person. The person had a hood on, making it hard to tell who it was.

"Inferno, user of the infamous Inferno Magia," said the person, "It's an honor to meet you."

"And you are?" asked Inferno.

"My name is simply Chaotic."

"Chaotic?" thought Inferno, "Of Faizione Gang #13? He's also the user of Chaotic Magia, Magia so powerful that it was named after its user. He's just like me."

"What are you doing here?" asked Inferno.

"Faizione has gotten some intel that you were after us. I might as well get the job done before anything messy happens."

"I bet you've already activated your Chaotic Magia to turn my friends against each other. So which people did you turn?"

"The strongest ones in my opinion: Dante, Exodus, and Lettuce."

"Then you've clearly lost already."

"What do you mean?" asked Chaotic, confused, "I've made sure to turn the strongest ones in your gang!"

"That's where you're wrong. Each gang member is strong, and we always have contingencies on what would happen if situations like this would occur."

"Persona," whispered Minny as she hid behind the tree alongside him, "There are three things that we need to watch out for: Dante's demon wolves, Exodus' Rotation shot, and Lettuce's range.

If Lettuce so much as sees us, we could be flung into who knows what. If Dante tracks us with his demon wolves, it'll be difficult for us to defeat them all. If the Rotation shot gets to us, the chance of us living are greatly reduced. Wraith is in an even worse situation. He can't do anything within his dimensional phase, but Dante's demon wolves can still kill him.

What matters most is that Dante's wolves are aiming for Wraith since he's the more dangerous target. We could use this time to defeat Exodus and Lettuce, or take down Dante so Wraith can help."

"Will we able to pierce Dante's reinforced skin?" asked Persona.

"I can't," said Minny, "But you can. Exodus has taught you about Rotation, right? Just throw your yo-yo so that it does just enough force to knock Dante out, but not enough to kill him. You'll have to be precise. Rotation doesn't forgive those who make miscalculations."

"Can you stop pointing the gun at me now?" asked Inferno, "It's making me uncomfortable. It's not like you'll be able to shoot me anyways."

"What do you mean?" asked Chaotic, "You're by far the weakest out of the gang. Your flames may be infamous, but your lack of control makes them useless!"

"Look," said Inferno, "If you kill me, my body will instinctively burn anything around it in an attempt to cremate me. If that happens, this entire forest will quickly spread into a raging wildfire. You'll be caught in that wildfire too. No matter how fast you are, you won't be able to escape the Inferno."

"You don't think I can do it?" yelled Chaotic, "I'll prove you wrong!"

BANG!

Persona stared at Dante, who was sniffing for Wraith's scent. He clutched his yo-yo and began to aim, spinning the yo-yo as fast as he could. There was no chance it could go fast enough to pierce through the reinforced skin, but Persona had to try.

He threw it, breaking the string off the yo-yo.

Dante definitely felt the impact of the Rotation hitting his back, and fell to the ground.

"I did it!" yelled Persona.

Minny was still staring at Dante's body. She knew something was wrong. Dante began to stand up again. Persona's Rotation was too slow to pierce the skin! Not only that, but Persona's yell of joy attracted Exodus and Lettuce.

They were in deep trouble.

Dante scratched his back, "Why.. hit?"

Minny and Persona was confused. They looked at Exodus and Lettuce's eyes, who were full of color once again.

The pistol's barrel began to smoke, with the finger pressing the trigger. Chaotic shot a bullet, but his gun was pointed in the air. Through his stomach was a hand which seemed to phase through him, breaking the bones inside his body.

"Wraith.." whispered Chaotic, "You.. phased through me."

Inferno was surprised that Wraith had appeared. He was even ready to take the bullet that Chaotic would've fired at him.

"You don't know the trouble you put me in," said Wraith, "I had to run from Dante's demon wolves! You know how scary that is?"

Finally, Chaotic fell to the ground, too weak for his Magia to work. The chaos was finally over.

"We can't get trapped like that again," said Minny as she drove the van, "From now on, we can't take any breaks. We have to kill them immediately or risk having us get killed by them."

Persona stared at his yo-yo. He needed to practice his Rotation. If it wouldn't have been for Wraith, he and Minny would've been dead by now.

Persona clutched his yo-yo, realizing that he needs to get stronger in order to survive in this mafia.
