File 37: Infinity

"There's no sign of Adonis," said Persona as he inspected Wraith's body, restoring it back to its unwounded form, "Thank you for buying us time. We'll do everything we can to win."

"Damn it!" yelled Exodus angrily as she shot bullets all around the room, "I swear I'll kill her for all she's done!"

"We can't get too hasty," replied Inferno, slowly going insane from the multiple casualties of his friends, "Even though we have the weapon to kill her, we can't get too overconfident. This is still a life or death situation."

"We might as well figure out how to use this thing," announced Persona as he put on the Centurion on his left arm.

The Centurion acted like an armband with two hooks protruding out of it. The hooks would spin the projectile to certain speeds, depending on the type of Rotation the user would want.

"My bullets are too small to use the Centurion," said Exodus, "Persona, your yo-yo seems like a perfect fit. Although I'm more experienced in the use of Rotation, I think you should be the one to handle the Centurion."

Persona nodded and placed the yo-yo inside the Centurion's grips. There were two buttons on the Centurion: A green one and a blue one. The green button would spin the yo-yo to a high enough speed for a lethal Rotation, and the blue button would spin the yo-yo just enough to enact a Platinum Rotation.

It was mentioned before that Platinum Rotation didn't seem to have much uses other than make the projectile spin infinitely.

"There must be a reason why Platinum Rotation is here," said Persona, "I plan on using it to the best of my—"

Persona was interrupted by his own agonizing scream. He grabbed his left arm, which was spewing with blood, missing from his body. Across from the gang was Adonis, who grabbed ahold of Persona's left arm as well as the Centurion.

"My, oh my," giggled Adonis, "I don't know how you did it, but you managed to open the black safe that bastard Ziratoni constructed. Well done. So this little device was inside all along?"

Persona screamed more, losing composure. Inferno ran up to Adonis, ready to take her on with flames growing from his fist. However, Adonis instantly kicked Inferno away with her speed, launching him to the pole of the spiral staircase and knocking him unconscious.

"I don't need another traitor hindering my work!" announced Adonis frustratingly, "I'm going to destroy this device once and for all!"

With her bare hands, Adonis crushed the Centurion as well as Persona's left arm to pieces. All that was left was the blood seeping through Adonis' hand.

"There goes our only method of defeating her.." whispered Exodus.

Suddenly, Adonis was being pulled towards the gang slowly.

"What's happening?" asked Adonis in confusion, unable to escape the pull, "Why am I coming towards you all?"

As Adonis got closer and closer, Minny took the opportunity to stab her away from the gang using an ice spear. Adonis was thrown to the ground, a hole in her chest. However, with her Infinity Magia, she could regenerate the cells of her body to be as good as new.

It wasn't Adonis that was being pulled towards the gang; It was the remains of the Centurion and Persona's left arm. Persona was using his Restoration Magia to restore things back to their original form! Soon, Persona's left arm was back to normal, and the Centurion back in one piece.

"So that's your Magia, huh?" laughed Adonis as she stood up, "It's really nothing too special! Just a tedious pain in the ass! Soon enough, I'll be able to kill you just like I did with Dante and Wraith!"

Angered by Adonis' statement, Exodus ran up and began shooting at Adonis with her Bullet Magia. Her infinite durability had turned on however, and deflected all of the bullets that Exodus shot. Soon, Exodus reloaded and began shooting Rotation bullets, but even then, Adonis dodged them with her infinite speed.

"How weak!" laughed Adonis as she appeared suddenly in front of Exodus, "I'm going to test out something new to you."

Exodus dropped her revolver as she screamed in pain. Her entire left arm was gone, but there were no traces of its existence left.

"I can't restore that wound without some form of material!" thought Persona, "Where could Exodus' left arm be?"

"I didn't think it would actually work!" laughed Adonis, "I've learned a few things from my fight with Wraith. Mainly that I could shift through different dimensions with the use of my Infinity Magia. By manipulating the values of my hand infinitely as a form of obliteration, my hand can act as a void and send things to different dimensions just like Wraith could with his entire body!

I've sent Exodus' left arm to a different dimension, where no one can access it!"

Exodus soon stopped screaming, falling unconscious as her blood stained the pants that Adonis wore. It was just Persona and Minny left who could take on Adonis.

"This is bad!" thought Persona, "Even if I were to launch my yo-yo at her, she would dodge it with her infinite speed!"

Minny looked at Persona, "I trust that you'll make the right decision."

Persona looked at her and then shifted his attention to Adonis' legs. Exodus' blood that was on Adonis' legs were frozen! Minny must've froze the blood to keep Adonis in place!

Persona aimed the Centurion at Adonis, armed with the yo-yo, "Take this!"

Persona pressed the blue button, launching the yo-yo towards Adonis' head. Adonis planned to dodge the attack, but finally noticed that her legs were frozen with Exodus' blood! She had no choice but to take it. Unless..

Adonis tilted her head, with the yo-yo zooming past her body, "You fools! Did you not think that I couldn't dodge it just by turning my head?"

Just as Adonis tilted her head, she picked up Exodus' revolver and quickly shot the last bullet at Persona.

SPLRCHK!

Minny collapsed to the ground, a bullet straight through her forehead. Persona was in shock as Adonis laughed at Minny's sacrifice.

But Adonis stopped laughing as well. From the back of her head was the yo-yo, spinning infinitely as it made contact to her hair. Persona restored the form of the yo-yo to come back to him, which changed the yo-yo's direction to hit Adonis.

With that, Adonis fell unconscious as Persona looked at Minny's fatal wound.
