[Chapter 2]

"I'm leaving Lily!" I yell to the house
"Ok be back soon! We need to watch the new episode of the bachelorette!! Don't! Forget!"
I laugh "ok!" I close the door and head down stairs to my bike.

I turn on the flashlight, attached to my bike, and head off into the woods.

As I look around I notice a few things, the forest isn't as bright, besides the moon in the far distance, the forest was pretty dim.
Usually I'm here in the morning or late afternoon, but at night it's a whole different world.

I make it to the area my tent is  and park my bike. I do park about a mile away so it's a pretty far walk. But it's nice.

After the long walk I finally make it to my tent
I take out my song writing journal and sit down on my big beanbag, sitting amongst the grass and rocks.

*ring ring ring* *ring ring ring*
My timer went off. Indicating the moon is at it's highest peak.

I set my journal done and look outside the tent.

Stars, millions and millions of starts. And amongst the stars is the moon.
It's beautiful yellowish, blueish glow. The way it lights up the forest.
I stare at it thinking of what could be out there. Aliens? I believe so. I do strongly believe in aliens. I mean think about it, millions and millions of stars and planets and were the only living things?
Pft! No! There are other things besides this place. Maybe it's just an undiscovered animal, or... it's something more unique

*Snap*
I turn my head around, nothing.

What could have made that noise, then again it's too dark to see anything anywhere. But I am! In a forest so it could just be an animal.

Like a bird, or a deer, or a bear... or a wolf!!!
Ok I need to go now
I run into my tent and quickly grab my things. I turn off the lantern and run out of the tent and through the woods

*snap!*
I run faster. What is that!? Is it chasing me!?

*thump thump thump thump*

Omg it's chasing me!!!!

As I'm running I look behind me. I see 2 blue glowing eyes. And they're getting closer

"HELP!" I yell to the empty forest.

I whip my head back around only to be faced with a cliff

I try to come to a stop but end of tripping and falling.

"AAAAAAaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!"

*SPLASH!!!!!*

*creature's pov*

What do I do!?

I can't just turn her!

But I have to! I don't want her to die!

Ughhhh the guys are gonna be sooooooo mad at me!

Well here it goes!

*scratch!*

*Layla's Pov*

I'm awake... I'm awake!? IM AWAKE!

Wait... what happened?

I open my eyes to see pure blackness. I slowing stand up "sssss" I hiss, grasping my arm.

3 scratches? Where did that come from? Huh?
I look down at my cloths, soaked. Wait..

It's all coming back to me, I fell into the lake. But how did I get out??? I was unconscious?

I look around, and see nothing. Wait?... what's that?

I squint my eye's trying to help me see through the dark Tree's

*growl*
A wolf...

I back away slowly, stopping when my feet hit the water.
I look round quickly for something to fight with. A stick!
I pick it up and point it to the huge dog that stood before me.
It looks straight at me with its dark blue eyes. It's black fur barely visible amongst the dark.

"Stay back" I whisper "pls... I'm scared" I say. Hoping it understands.

It stops. And backs away slightly.

It starts to glow? What's happening!?
As it glows brighter, it gets bigger, slowly morphing into a boy.
IS THIS WATER FULL OF CHEMICALS!? WHAT AM I LOOKING AT!?!?

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" I scream high pitched. I start throwing rocks at him as he walks closer to me.

"NO NO NO NO NO! It OK! It's OK!— OW-OW-OW-I'm not gonna hurt— you!—- OW!" He yelled as he grabbed onto my hands, stopping me from throwing more rocks

I grunt and pull out of his grasp "get off me!" I yell
He backs away and raises his hand in defeat. "Ok now listen. I'm. Not. Gonna. Hurt. You" he says

"What are you!" I yell, still pointing the stick at him
"I'm a werewolf" he says plainly

I scoff "no you are not." I say

He chuckles "did you not Just see my morph from a wolf to a human?"
I think "werewolves don't exist!"

"Yeah they do. There aren't many. I only know of the one's here, in LA." He says

"A-and why are you here?" I stutter

"I saved you." He says looking down
"H-h-How?"

He looks away, not waning to say anything

"HOW!" I repeat

"But turning you into one of us! We have powers preventing us from dying! And I didn't want you to die so I turned you into one and saved your life!" He yelled

I dropped my stick, and breathed in heavily
I look at my shaking hands "i-I'm not... a... a..."

"Werewolf" he finished my sentence "look I'll explain everything once——"

"AWOOOOOOOOO" something howls

More wolves approach us, running fast.

Colby runs over to me and stands in front of me, blocking me from the view of the others.
I see a whole bunch of glowing, but it soon dies done

"Colby who is that?!" Someone asks
"Uhhh who?" He says, acting dumb

"The girl stupid!" A girl yells

I step out from behind, who I just found out, is Colby

I slightly smile at the people in front of me. 3 guys, and 3 girls.

"Uhh... hi" I slightly smile and wave at them. Still not totally on page with what's happening

"Who is she?" The blond boy asks

"This is-?"Colby starts

"Layla, Layla Moray" i say

"OMG LAYLA MORAY! as in.. THE FAMOUS SINGER!" The short one yells in excitement

I'm guessing she's a fan

I smile at her "yeah that's me"

"Wait, hold up, who?" A boy with a man bun asks

"I think the question is who are y'all!? And why are y'all all wolves!? And how did you turn me into one!" I snap

They all look blankly at me, before looking to Colby with angry expressions on their face.

Colby in the other hand looked like he had some explaining to do.
