"What's this?" I ask. "The mark of the Nightwing. Your one of us now" He says with a smirk. I smirk as well "Great" I say.

"Ahh" I hiss at my leg, which has a gash in it. I hear a big whoosh and see that Layla has flown away. "LAYLA!" I yell, she's already gone. "Colby!" Someone yells. I look up and see everyone running towards me. Sam and Jake kneel down next to me and examine the cut. "I-it's fine. It's just a little cut" I say, trying to stand back up, but I just fall over again, I hiss "ok... it's not fine" I say. Corey sighs and also kneels down, he closes his eyes and focuses, I feel a sting in my cut. He opens his eyes and we look down at the cut, I mean... what cut?
"Since when can you do that?" I ask. "Little trick I learned" he said with a smirk "But your not a wol- you know what never mind. We need to find Layla" I say standing up "What!?" Kat yells "But she hurt you?" Jake says. I nod "but she didn't mean to"
"Yes she did" we hear a voice behind us. We all turn and see a man with wolf ears, a tail, and black wings. The guys all turn, except me "Don't bother attacking. The whole point of this power is so we can talk and still have! our powers" he chuckles "Who are you?" I ask, standing my ground "I'm Layla's brother" he says "David"
"She doesn't have a Brother?" Tara questions. "Yes she does. But dear old dad forgot to mention me." He glares "You see when we had to flee. Daddy forgot about me, well my mom anyways.he left her there to fend for herself. When I was born, she died shortly after. When I heard that he was married to a mortal, and that they had a child together, I lost it. I always wondered, how could he leave me? His son"
I scoff "maybe cause your a di*k" I respond "I wouldn't test me if I were you. You don't know what I'm capable of" he says. "I don't care, where is Layla!" I yell
"She's at witches forest, imma bout to pay her a visit too" he says with a smirk "Don't you dare! Lay a finger on her!" I yell. The guys started growling at him. "Why would I do that? I need her" he says I continue to glare at him. He disappears into smoke and reappear right in front of me. "Again... stay out of my way" he says in almost a whisper Sam jumps in between us and growls louder, making David back away. Not in fear, but in more of a 'I was done with what was saying anyways' kinda way. "Well, I best be off" he turned back into a Nightwing and took flight out the balcony. I pace around the room in distress "Colby-" "we have to find her" I say "But-" I cut Corey off " I don't care if she hurt me. It was an accident. I know it was" I look down "but right now she's in danger and if y'all aren't going I help me, I'm going alone" I say walking over to the coat rack and looking for the keys to my car *whistle* I turn and catch the keys that were thrown to me. I look for the source and see Sam, with a warm grin on his face "You ready?" He says as he grabbed his coat I smile "yeah, let's go"
We walked out the apartment, but right as we press the elevator button and the door's gonna close, a hand comes in between us. The door slides back open and there stood all the guys. "She's our friend too" Jake says, as they all walked through the elevator door. I smile "let's go find Layla"
